I started, but merging draft lists is boring. If we turned in 3 lists, you're basically going to take our first four available ubers, then move onto middleweights, then to regs, right? You're not going to give us a team of all ubers or anything?

That's exactly what I'd do.

The thing is we're not doing the three list thing anymore. I'm just going to make this as quick and easy as possible for myself as I can make it. That means starting at the top and working my way down all the lists.

I'd merge them by just stacking the lists on top of each other, not mixing ranks. Now, It's unlikely you'd get a team full of ubers because of what other take, but it's possible.

Yeah, it did. Now that we're using a single list, the number you get of each rank depends on your list structure.

I can't believe I'm going to do this but, unless there are some strong objections otherwise, I'm going to change the way the draft is done.

What everyone will need to do is turn in a single list of characters. This list will have all the characters you want, in any order you want, regardless of rank. Just put the characters you want most closer to the top to maximize the chance of getting them.

You can also post alternatives to choices as described by Tim.


And if these ends up causing me a lot of work, I'll have no choice but to give Tim an automatic loss.

Of course if you take advantage of my whole "alternates" idea, you wouldn't have to worry about too many ubers. Just do your list like this:

Quasar
-- Green Lantern (Kyle)
-- Green Lantern (Hal)
-- Green Lantern (Alan)
-- Green Lantern (Guy)

Doomsday
-- Savage Hulk
-- Proffesor Hulk
-- Gray Hulk
-- Juggernaut

Dr. Strange
-- Dr. Fate I
-- Dr. Fate II
-- Dr. Fate III
-- Dr. Fate IV

Thanos
-- Thor
-- Silver Surfer
-- Morg
-- Terrax

etc.

That's not my actual list, just examples. The point is, if you want to take four ubers with your first four picks and then no more, just list a ton of alternates with each pick. (You'd probably need more than I listed above to guarantee you'd get one -- or make sure a few of them are super-obscure.)

Of course, you all can do whatever you want, but it sure seems like this is the easiest way to get a team that resembles what you have in your head.

It's pretty common knowledge that Thanos is at the top of the food chain uber wise. But what other ubers float near that line? Who else is at the very cusp of being too uber?

Who are the middlweights that are only a hair away from being ubers?

most of them dont update alot so its not so bad. the rpgs ebb n flow when one picks up, others slow down, mainly bc its the same people in all of them.

well i already submitted my list so at this pont its kind of moot. i like the idea of having a team....mine should be different too, almost exclusively wildstorm characters were on it.
