So, how many more draft lists are we waiting on?

I'm with you, X. I keep coming up with ways my team of characters I may or may not draft could beat other hypothetical teams of characters you guys may or may not draft. I tell you, if I could just take over the draft and assign everyone the characters I think they should have, I'd totally dominate.

But if we keep the descriptions of powers very brief, having that extra knowledge would still be extremely valuable.

I think this is the very most important part of this idea.

We're gaining a little, but there's no cheapening of the game. You can't suddenly stack your team with whoever you want and ignore the knowledge they will or won't bring to the game. Strategy still plays a huge part in it all.

As I remember it, our teams used to basically get portfolios with pictures, and that was it. Our team got a visual of each member of the other team. Someone familiar with Superman's costume would recognize other characters with similar costumes and they could make logical deductions. Muscle bound hulks were more than likely superstrong.

With this, we'd basically get that portfolio and a simple set of powers.

I say lets do it. This'll help with condensed write-ups. We won't spend three paragraphs going "My team is unaware of three members of the other team, so we spend this long fighting them, this long figuring it out through telepathy, this long adapting".

Yeah, I'm definitely for that.

I don't know when you contacted them, but if someone doesn't respond in a week, I say drop them. (Maybe send them a final warning first.) If they can't be on here at least that frequently then they probably won't be consistent participants.

Are you including the other two X recruited (Fantomex and False Profit)? They each posted expressing interest (a few pages back).

That's why I said yet. I want to get all draft lists in this weekend. If they put in the time to get theirs in, then I'll add them.


I also just got one more list in, so now we're (technically) waiting on three. I'll pm them tomorrow and if I don't hear from them by the end of the weekend, we'll go on without them.


Also, if you want to tweak or add to your lists, this is your last couple of days to do so. Just let me know.

I started, but merging draft lists is boring. If we turned in 3 lists, you're basically going to take our first four available ubers, then move onto middleweights, then to regs, right? You're not going to give us a team of all ubers or anything?
