Plus, I'm African American...though it doesn't REALLY matter...I just like seeing people like me portrayed in film (culturally speaking)

there was a lack of white americans in the movie too which upset a lot of people

Never upset me (even though I'm a white american) considering the last one had them. Funny too how a lot of non-American actors are top choices for villians (Suchet for Penguin, Pearce for Dent)

Well that shouldn't upset people either. Barring some obvious examples, what does an actors nationality or ethnicity matter if he does a great job?

Theater's a bit away, and I'm only 16, so I can't drive myself there yet.
Poor guy. Nag until they take you! It's the best way! :D

Commissoner loeb and the black arkham asylem worker who talks to Crane when falcone is brought in are both british as well hows that for diversity. you don't many british black actors.

ok, ok...not exactly a headshot, but close enough :p

While I do think black people should be portrayed for various reasons, if nothing else but for keeping with the law of averages...

Batman Begins had a black Commissioner... creating him, apparently, out of a white character... oh, and Lucious Fox... Keeping with this is a comic book, during which all iconic aspects were developed during a period of racial intolerance, I'd say that's pretty good...

Oh... and Lucious Fox...

If the Batman comics were more racially diverse I could say so, but as is, Lucious Fox being Batman's saving grace, supplier, brains of WayneCorp and hilarious confidant of Batman's secret identity... wow... I just think we can take quality over quantity on this one...

In affect, you didn't feel there was enough of a "minority" in the opinions here, so you, in a deliciously ironic stroke, created a thread dealing with minorities in Batman Begins.

...that's deep.

Is Killer Croc black? Wikipedia claims so (without actually backing it up) but has it ever actually been stated in the comics?

he sounds black...but i cannot picture him in a sequel...

on the 'toon he sounded black...like voiced by a known black actor :D

Maybe in TNBA. Not so much in TAS. And it's the comics I'm really concerned about anyway. Regardless, if it were possible to do him, you could certainly get away with casting a black actor.

i guess so...

how do you think it could be possible to do croc? there is a disease that makes one's skin appear reptilian

ok, thats like 3 black ppl in the city of gotham...Gotham can't be THAT white...black ppl commit a lot of crime too :D
lol. you are awesome.

Spider-Kurt should be in this movie having a threesome with Selina Kyle and Talia in order to help the crusade of fighting racism in Gotham City!

lol...you wanting to *ahem* insert yourself into the batman storylines LOL
