Strong Belwas is such a cartoonish character, he's great! Liver and onions are like his spinatch!

WOW!

Awesome episode ladies and gents, Soo much cool **** happened in this episode

-loved how everything took place in King's Landing.

- Best ****ing explosion ever!!!!!. Hope Davos didn't end up getting blown, but that scene with him flying backwards was just bad ass
-Cercei such a *****, but in a way she was being honest!!!!
-Tyrions speech was awesome
- Stannis and the Hound were tearin **** up!
-the effects and acting just top notch as always

Season finale looks sick! Jaqen H'gar is the coolest mofo, love that guy, him speaking in 3rd person is just awesome

looks like Daenerys is going to stop by the house of the Undying

Sarah Bolger for meera, close to the right age, she has time on her hands (pilot was cancelled), she actually lives in Ireland, she has already acted in a period piece (she was Mary Tudor in the tudors)

Oh, and she is fine as hell. :)

My choice would be Saoirse Ronan, but no way could they get her.

He literally stabbed a king in the back, that is why everyone thinks the worst of him.

A Mad King.

A Mad King who [blackout]planned to burn down King's Landing with wildfire and kill every soul with him. When Jaime killed him, he was calling for the pyromancer Hand of his to come and use all that wildfire Tyrion used on Stannis's ships on King's Landing.[/blackout]

Jaime in many ways is actually quite similar to his dwarf brother.

Seems like alot of folks want Maggie Smith as the Queen of Thorns.

Maggie Smith and Vanessa Redgrave are the go to ladies for sharped tongued older actresses.

I'll be honest, I'm surprised they're using her. She has very little screen time in the book and in S2 they have explicitly given Margaery (which I always thought she implicitly had) the Queen of Thorns's personality traits.

Oh well. If she's in, I'd love to see Helen Mirren play her. Since they can't get her, I have no idea.

I disagree with this completely.

True it is a surprise, but a pleasant one imo.

If anything I think Jaime was actually a lot like Sansa in his youth, dreaming of heroics and honour and all that.
Aerys killed that boy with his monsterous acts and the injustice of not be able to stop him.

Jaime did tthe right thing by killing the Mad King. Anyone who disagrees will eat crow when the whole truth comes out.

Loved Bolger in Tudors and she's grown up to be quite the lady. However, isn't she a wee old for the part? I haven't read ADWD, but in ACOK and ASOS, I got that Bran was smitten with her. Then again, they didn't shy away from age difference with Arya and Gendry, so what do I know.

I disagree with this completely.

Really? I'll rephrase and say that he's a lot closer to Tyrion than he is to Cersei. They both desperately want to do the right thing and be honorable, but are perceived by the outside world as evil, dishonorable monsters. They both are sarcastic and ironically witty to cover up their insecurities. They both want to get away from the looming presence of their father and feel inadequate in his presence. And whats between their legs gets them into countless needless trouble. ;)

The difference (besides height) is that Jaime is physically imposing, but Tyrion is intellectually imposing. He has much more Tywin's tactical mind and ruthlessness.

I see quite a few similarities between the characters.

You know oddly enough, despite the thing with Rossart I think he may have killed Aerys out of some personal need for justice for Rhaella..

Tyrion need not atone. Jaime has plenty to atone for.

The problem with Jaime is that he has done monstrous things of purely selfish and arrogant reasons.

He not only shagged his sister and sat back while his bastards stood in line for the Iron Throne. To cover it up, he shoved a little boy out a window. His killing of the Mad King was fair. But how he did it, and how he acted afterwards is what gives him a bad rep in the eyes of a man like Ned.

havent read the books but is Danerys the only targarian left?

Yeah Jaime may have used her abuse as added justification. The Mad King needed to die simply for what he was planning, but the way he treated his wife before the seige probably didn't help his case.

Read at your own risk.

Maester AemonWe aren't sure about the rest. The vast majority, including myself, believe Jon is half Targaryen, on his father's (Rhaegar) side. Some speculation that Tyrion might be though I doubt it. Aegon, the son of Rhaegar, appears at the end of ADWD, but many believe him to be an imposter.

Also Snape Killed Dumbledore.

It's not a spoiler if it's a theory, based on things told in the first two episodes. I've never read the books, and I came to that conclusion circa episode 3. It seems odd none of the characters came to the same conclusion.

He is a weak piece of crap who deserted the the Watch because he is a weak piece of crap.
what? what a prick!

now he's tryin to tap Danerys nice behind( but it seems he truly loves her). Damn both Xaro and Jorah want it, no wonder shes mostly in a pissed off mood
