Get ready to fap, y'all... EXTENDED TRAILER!!!!

That Brienne headbutt aroused me. :o:up:

Can't believe it's still a month away. :(

Cersei: You're not as clever as you think you are.
Tyrion: That still makes me more clever than you.

I love it.

Brienne and the bear! Was not expecting that this season. And can someone remind me when Dany was on a boat in SOS?

Did you miss the title for episode 7? :woot:

As for Dany, it is in her first chapter. She is on the boats meant to bring her back to Pentos from the end of ACoK. The exact scene show at the end of the trailer is straight from the book, Dragon flying and all.

I read the title but I didn't connect Bear and the Maiden Fair with that scene. I'm slow sometimes haha.

Is this trailer available for download in HD anywhere?

Charles Dance confirms basically what we already knew:

“We’re about to start season four aren’t we? This year. We get scripts pretty early on, much earlier on than in similar series, usually you get perhaps one episode and you just have to trust that what’s going to come in subsequent episodes is going to be as good as the one you’ve got, but in this I think there are six scripts already written, and we will probably be able to see them with more than adequate time to prepare before we start shooting.”

The only thing I get out of that is that Tywin survives into season 4.

Iron Throne by Marc Simonetti

Now that is an Iron Throne. That actually looks like what the books describe it as. A thing that would cut you. This guy does other work based on GRRM's books.

Eh... nice piece of art, but it's just too much.

That's Aegon for you. The man meant business when he said a throne should be uncomfortable. The show's throne has always paled in comparrison to what is described in the books. The book's isn't quite as drastic as the above illustration, but it is more spikey and foreboding than the shows.

I will say the TV version should ideally be a happy medium between what they've already got and what's presented in that image. Not quite as overboard (possibly impossible to construct) as that image, but not as sparse as the TV version.

Agreed. The throne in that image would not only be hard to construct but unsafe for the actors. Theyd never be able to walk up that thing without tripping or stumbling.

I love it, thats how it really is described in the book...The throne is a character itself with its demonstrative look

I am fine with the throne in the show. But that picture reminds me of how much more awe-inspiring King's Landing and the Red Keep are supposed to be. Especially the King's Guard actually wearing all white. The last bit could be on the show.
