and now we know who Peter Dinklage is playing in the new X-Men movie...Tyrion Lannister

I have read the books and no where is it mentioned that the millers boys are his children.

Alright, give me a minute, now I need to reread.

Ah, screw it. Anyone else here recall the allusion or am I misremembering things?

I've read the books and I have no idea what you're talking about.

Theon mentions banging the miller's wife when he kills the children. So it's possible they were his own kids but I think they were too old.

In the show they were orphans given to the miller to help him with the upkeep of the mill. In season 2 they show him at Winterfell asking Bran for help.

After Jon and Ygritte finished the climb and made out, I wanted the scene to go on an extra minute so I could see Jon walk up to Orell and slug him.

I wanted jon to push him off the wall:cmad:

I can't recall -- is Littlefinger's Chaos speech in the books?

Quick question, is there people here who have never read the books and don't know what's coming next? Just can't wait until we have reactions at the end of this season. People should actually record themselves while watching.

Not sure if this is a spoiler, but when reading the book, my jaw kept hitting the floor. Had to get up and walk away a couple times.

Me. I can only guess what is coming based on the show itself.

You're right. I thought that's how it was in the book but it was the show that did that.

I've read that when it was mentioned to GRRM, he just said it was interesting, so it wasn't something he was implying about it. Theon is a ****, probably worse than other characters. But I also think he's capable of redeeming himself which is more than you can say about characters like Ramsay, Cersei, or Joffrey.

I am currently reading the books but I'm still on the first book at the point when Eddard Starke and company first leave Winterfell.

I'm not up to book 3 yet, but I know alot of the broad strokes that happen through to book 5. There's stuff I know about, such as what you're probably referencing, but the smaller details might come as a surprise to me.

That's a great idea. I'm gonna do that.

Boy, that meeting with the Freys went way better than I thought it would. Kinda expected a lot more tension. Maybe that'll come later...

Me. I know broad strokes regarding Arya's future but that's it. Hope there are many surprises in store.

Two girls, one throne.

Sounds awesome!

I'm gonna read all the books after this season has ended.

So is it me or is the show kinda botching the significance of the direwolves?

The sigil of House Stark and the animal companions of Robb, Jon, Bran, and Rickon (Sansa's was killed by Cersei's orders and Arya scared hers away after it bit Joffrey).
