Oh, I thought you was saying people shouldn't be shocked by fiction. We are on the same page. Three seasons into the show people should know what to expect.

Oh no I was shocked...I was talking about the poster being offended because of his personal life and complaining about that scene. I almost spit my tea drank out.

The image that stuck with me was Cat getting her throat slit. She had a look of relief on her face when it happened, it was very sad/creepy

A shame that we didn't get to see [blackout]Cat go completely bat**** crazy and start clawing her own face up[/blackout], but that was as brutal as brutal can get.

I'm actually ok with that being left out now that I've seen the episode. The way she screams, slits the girls throat and just goes blank is perfect. She completely broke and was gone before the blade ever touched her.

Yeah, I'm not really on the same page...hated the scene..

but still love the series..the show can do no wrong at the end of the day.

For some reason I thought tonight was the finale and I cheered when they said "coming up next week on the finale"..at least we don't have to wait a year

Well to be honest, show Cat has always been much more composed, and stronger seeming to me, then book Cat was. I think her reaction fit more with the way they developed her character for the show.

why? I didnt like it..big deal... I probably would have still hated it without a pregnant wife sitting next to me...if it's of any meaning to you I still like the series dude..in fact, i liked the episode.

craziest scene I have ever laid eyes on and i knew it was coming. wow.

Walder was perfect. And his little smirk to Robb when its shown that his daughter is actually pretty cute lol

Yeah the way she went out was completely true to her character. Once she let out that scream she was dead, the knife only added a clear image to her death.

Now that I've collected my thoughts...

That ending made Ned Stark's death look like something out of a Disney movie.

[BLACKOUT]I was anticipating and dreading the Red Wedding at the same time. And Jesus, it was even more brutal than it was in the book. I had suspected Talisa was going to be a spy working for the Lannisters (the evidence is there), so imagine my surprise when she ended up getting stabbed multiple times in the belly. That's going to haunt me. And between Grey Wind dying, Rob's "mother...", and Cat's anguished scream, I was just numb for a few minutes afterwards. [/BLACKOUT]

I think I need a drink.

****, I completely forgot about Edmure. I'm pretty sure in the books (someone correct me if im wrong) no one knows for sure what happened to him, and he hasn't been heard from for a couple books so he may yet be alive. Considering this, the show will probably go its own direction with him.

Oh, and thank god Blackfish went to take a piss.

He's still there. He's a hostage. They treaten to hang him every day of the seige at Riverrun. He treats with Jaime at some point.

Me and my friends had a "no talking till the end credits" policy and right when they started, one of them yelled out [BLACKOUT]"NED JUNIOR! NOOOOO!"[/BLACKOUT]

Yep. In my head it was a lot quicker. They play the song, other fishy things are happening during the song, and as soon as it's done, they pull out their crossbows. I can't remember if in the book Frey had a speech before Rob took a bolt to the chest

Also, in the books, all through the scene it's mentioned how loud and bad the the band is. That would be because they're not an actual band.

I felt tonight's episode was the first interesting thing that's happened in Bran's storyline all season.

Bran's story is the weakest, until something happened tonight. But yes that arc stinks so far
