The accelerating reactions to GOT deaths:

Viserys: HAHAHAHAHA!!! Dick. :o
Robert: Eh. Who's gonna miss him?
Ned:  Well.... that kind of hurts.
Drogo: :waa:
Robb/Talisa/Catelyn: **** ME, I CAN'T HANDLE THIS ****!!! *cries and vomits simultaneously*

Yeah, I didn't think anything could mess up and depress my mind any more than Ned's death. I was wrong.

There really was a time where that was like the biggest, most traumatic event you could imagine. Then after actually seeing the RW, Ned's death just seems like small beans.

Its pretty dark. I wouldn't call anything that happens "good" but more like "less dark".

Lena Headey just Tweeted she is gonna miss her friend Michelle on GoT. [BLACKOUT]Either this is misdirection or they may have cut Lady Stoneheart. There was a rumor Talissa would become Lady Stoneheart. I really hope that isn't what they are doing.[/BLACKOUT]

Or she hasn't read the book.

Headey's playing the game. :o

The friendzone :(

PS. So who likes Roose Bolton? He's got an awesome bastard, cool sigil and he's the King of the North, baby!

If by "like", you mean "want to see get tortured to death"... sure. I "like" Roose Bolton.

To be fair, in his interview that EW released last night, he referred to the series ending as bittersweet. Which, after some of the **** we've endured so far, will be a welcome change.

so who else noticed how when Roose stared at Catelyn he looked exactly like Tywin

He's also said it's going to end with the wind howling over a desolate grave-strewn battlefield. :hehe: Never know with GRRM.

But I'm sure it'll balance out. If there's one thing this series is good at doing, it's showing how bad decisions catch up to you. Some over long periods of time...and sometimes just choosing the wrong thing to say. :)

Looking back, Robb's biggest mistake was going South. If the North had just seceded and waited, Tywin would have been forced to pull a Napoleon / Hitler.

Didn't Robb's march south begin because he was going to get his father

:lmao:

Robb had several huge mistakes, but his (first?) biggest was probably trying to make an alliance with pirates whose motto is basically "we steal for a living" and just really hope that Greyjoy kid doesn't have any festering resentment over being a hostage at the Stark house.

Everything else kind of fell apart out of that. He lost his home, the respect and trust of his men--even the Red Wedding might have been prevented or greatly minimized if it had just been the Freys trying to take revenge, instead of the Freys and the Boltons without a majority of his previous supporters.

Oh well, live and l--uh...

Robb's entire arc after S1 can basically be summarized in one sentence: "You really should've listened to your mom, bro."

lol

and for the episode....don't name your child after Sean Bean or any of his characters.

He's not the King in the North, he's the Lord Paramount of the North since the Starks are now an exiled house.

He went south to get Ned as roach pointed out. His biggest mistake was declaring independence. He should have declared for Stannis or Renly, told them to agree/fight amongst themselves but would swear fealty to whoever won. Coordinating with either one would have given them the advantage over the Lannisters. His presence in the Riverlands would have forced Tywin to divide his forces in the West and near King's Landing. The Tyrells only play for the winning side so it would have been likely they would join a Stark/Tully/Baratheon alliance. Plus, if Renly got killed, he could have married Margaery.

Not to mention the real war will be against the White Walkers. The Northmen would have be critical for that since they are the soldiers most capable of fighting in winter.

Too Soon, Maisie Williams...
