Both JJ & Alfonso could do a great job.

See the Clone Wars did nothing to make the films any better, I almost would recommend to those that have never seen the PT or any Star Wars just watch TCW and the OT. Is TCW perfect? No, a lot of the ideas from the PT just still don't jive. But for the most part you care about the characters, they give some interesting new characters time ect.

The Anakin in TCW feels polar opposite from Hayden. The films themselves were just too bad to me to make TCW make them better. And I think some tie them in together too closely. The films are in the end what matter most, and they really are the say all. However TCW is worth watching. It has some great story lines and more emotion in one episode then the PT combined. And this is coming from a pure CGI cartoon lol.

When did The Clone Wars start?

I'd be interested just to get more into the EU stuff even if it doesn't compliment the films that well.

I checked the additional link proofed in the original article and the site specifically mentioned the main character is an offspring of Skywalker and a female. Is this where the rumors of a 'female Skywalker' got started and confirmed by slashfilm.com?

My problem is that the site has no traction. No one is talking about it so that's why I'm questioning it so much. Either it could be legit and we're underestimating the site, or this is veering into Cosmicbooknews.com territory (one of the worst sites with a knack of hit-****ing with their made-up BS.)

Okay, let's say it's legit. If all else, in order to get some buzz, the dude should build a better relationship with the rest of the film blog community because I haven't seen too much commotion on this article. Look at Latino Review and how it creates buzz.

Yes, the show get's considerably darker each season.
There's death (on screen in various forms including murder, enviromental and war), strong character dynamic and growth and well written plots just as good as anything in ANY of the movies.

Yes, the show get's considerably darker each season.
There's death (on screen in various forms including murder, enviromental and war), strong character dynamic and growth and well written plots just as good as anything in ANY of the movies.

I'll have to check it out then.

The show has done a great job of allowing us to get to know the clones more, one of the pleaseant surprises for me personally. I love the clone centric episodes t:. Just makes order 66 a bit more tragic . We also get to see the war itself (very brutal episodes at times). And there's also some new and very cool original characters. Definitely worth a view if u have time, Killer.

Well since all this star wars talk of sequels and spinoffs has me salivating to see these new adventures, i figured the clone wars would be a nice thing to watch to satisfy me while i wait. That being said, Disney hurry the hell up and announce something important, its been a few weeks. We need something to talk about and get excited for lol.

I heard that the sixth, next season will be the last. Although personally i would like it to go to 8, that way it can lead into VII.

Huh? It's called the Clone Wars, which will have ended with Episode 3 don't they? I think the point of the show is to lead up to the events of III, then stop.

That's my point. If one season equals a year. The there should be 3 more seasons leading up to episode 7 in 2015. I'm not saying that the show should go into the future. I'm saying they should end the show when episode VII comes out.
