Ghost Rider Teaser trailer will be out next week according to Facebook:

"Get ready for the new teaser trailer coming next week... it's a scorcher."
Awesome news. What film Sony has other than 30 Minutes?

Colombiana...August 26th. Hmmm seems weird though...I think attaching it to 30 Minutes or Less would have been the smarter move.
I'm watching 30 Minutes or Less tonight & I've got a feeling that it'll have the trailer. If not then it'll probably be with Colombiana. I'll update you guys if I see it tonight with a detailed description : )

Awesome, cant wait to see it so we can get some inkling of what to expect.

They may be doing a TDK stunt here. The trailer could be attached to 30 Minutes BUT it won't appear online until monday. At least one can hope this is the case and we don't have to wait till Colombiana or Bucky Larson come out.

Did they show 3D footage at Comic Con (Forcing attendees to put on 3D glasses)?

You know 3D is something that is optional...right?

Certainly, but there's no need to film or convert in 3D, it simply doesn't add anything to a movie, despite "King of the world" Cameron calling it teh future. :cwink:

Converting to 3D adds nothing to a movie, but filming in 3D -- and actually setting up your shots to take advantage of that -- adds a whole level of depth that you don't get in a 2D movie.

There's no need to film a movie in 3D? That is simply your opinion...most people seem to enjoy it which is why studios are still deciding to film movies in 3D. 3D conversions are another story. Most conversions have been rush jobs that look awful and are an afterthought just in attempt to make an extra buck. Ghost Rider was actually shot with 3D cameras so it is going to be a legit 3D film. But once again 3D will always be optional which is why I don't understand when I see the constant whiners about it. If the day comes where you can ONLY see a movie in 3D then I will understand a reason to be upset.

Well these studios just usually spend a month or so with these conversions. If you were to take the proper time and money like James Cameron is doing with Titanic making it into 3D then it can payoff. But not many studios are going to put that kind of time and money into a film...unless they know for sure it will make them money like Titanic most certainly will.

This

CAP was converted to 3D post production, and pretty much is considered the best post conversion ever... according to most the reviews ive read... so it can be done well. But the director has to be aware of wanting to film in 3D first

I think any conversion, even Cap is stupid. It's just a reason for studios to charge more without really spending money on 3D.

ill say this though, after seeing cap in both 3D and 2D (saw 3D first), i enjoyed it more visually, in 3D. things just appear more "clearer" as well as dept, and they did a really swell job on the 3D.

Well then I guess it may be a preference thing. I like watching 2D versions of all these 3D films and find them the best.
Let's hope GR2 is a good film because a good film can be good in either 2D or 3D (Heck, I even kinda enjoyed Drive Angry in 2D!).

don't get me wrong... 95.9% of post conversions suck, i didn't really care for Thor's 3D version, and i'm very picky on my 3D

I was just on the IMDB listing for GR 2 and it states that MSJ is the Executive producer. Is this true? I thought he had nothing to do with the sequel?
