its not to bad of a wait. i just hope since all cw shows are not starting to oct, i hope it isnt towards end of the month i would like around second week.

The only good thing with the later start is that there will be less re-runs in between so at least the show can build up momentum.

Ya which is good because this past season for all cw shows they had way to many breaks. There was what like 5 or 6 times. When the usual is like 2 times, and maybe toward end of season an odd week or two off.

Not only that, but it also enables them to avoid the really competetive August/September slaughter-fest. They don't need to worry about premiering the same night as other shows are premiering.

It really is a blessing in terms of pacing. Once Upon a Time didn't premiere until almost the end of October and the whole first season felt like it just flew by.

I still hope though for a mid oct start. But we probably won't know how cw is going to once new/returning shows go into production in a month and schedules coming up in aug/sept once they release premire news.

You know what I'd love? If they did something similar to what Heroes did when it was on the air, releasing a little online mini-comic after every episode, filling in backstory for Ollie's time on the island, the villain of the episode, generally giving us a feel for this universe, etc.

Would be nice idea, or at least do cw special vids like they did with smallville last few seasons and have wirrter/director of x episode give some dets on episode.

Some stuff (including a pretty big spoiler regarding the pilot) from Amell:

Rise poster for Green Arrow?

Whats that on his forearm? Sawyer that was some serious spoilers and says a lot about this Arrow that is a dark place to go in a pilot.

Perhaps he's gonna be using those mini-arrows in close range combat. Stabbing people like a knife and maybe throwing them ninja-style.

I feel like I should read Green Arrow: Year One in preparation for the series. Is it any good?

Its really good, don't think its necessary for the series though as there taking it in a different direction.

As a side note, amell posted that news should be coming soon.. wonder what it could be.

Here's an extended trailer:

Sombody over at CBM caught this:

Interesting. And that appears to be the island.

I'd bet [BLACKOUT]Moira Queen, Walter Steele or whoever is the mastermind behind the conspiracy to eliminate Oliver and his father hired Deathstroke to do it. Sounds like he'll be one of the main antagonists.[/BLACKOUT]

I will give this to them. This does appear to be dark (and very mature). I like how Oliver drops F-Bombs in front of the media. They are trying to stretch it with the censors. Nice take on the trick arrows too.

Love the extended trailer.

Man this looks like a movie. Cool to see that I was right regarding the mini-arrows and I guess he'll be using tech arrows as well. The over-the-shoulder camera work when he jumped down on the container looked really cool as well.

I liked the trailer its impressive very Jason Bourne and Ollie before the Island was a very bad boy.

Damn that looks pretty amazing. I do wonder how they'll piece out the mystery of the island story.
