There's a huge problem.

For New Yorkers who have Cablevision, they are in a dispute with the CW, so there is no channel 11. Is there anyway I can watch the show live online somewhere, or will I have to wait for the show to be uploaded the next day somewhere?

I think you just have to wait for the next day.

THAT SUUUUUUCCCCKS

I been waiting mad long for this to come out.

The next morning before school I don't give a **** if I'm late I'm watching it.

Basically, Arrow is going to depict the DCU without the metahuman heroes and villains. It's the DCU only with non-powered characters.

I think I'm gonna pass, I mean a five year origin story, no trick arrows, and of course not having him be a liberal - which is probably one of his defining character traits.

They don't wanna alienate middle America, ironically.

In the released clips for the pilot alone we've already seen an exploding arrow and a zipliine arrow.

And I don't see how showing bits of the island here and there is a bad thing since you get current Arrow too.

1. I hope Grundy isn't being serious.
2. There's like, one short island flashback per episode and how long would you like Oliver to reform? A day? Give me a break.
3. There are trick arrows. Just not campy ones like boxing gloves.

You can stream it, but not legally.

Those were to be expected, but when I say trick arrows, I'd prefer to see at least a few less murder-y ones. Doesn't have to be the boxing glove, just some variety.

And five years is still a ridiculous amount of time to do an origin. That should be able to be done in a season, two tops. A flashback (or a few) for each episode for two seasons should be more than enough time to dole out the relevant information about what went on on grimngritty island.

Tomorrow is the day! I'm a bit more excited by this show then I was previously. I hope it's good and interesting.

I may be the minority, but I hope the keep the flashbacks to a minimum in this first episode, especially since I'm not a fan of flashbacks.

I don't think you're gonna get your wish there.

Yeah, you're probably right. I would just prefer a full sequence about his time on the island a la Cast Away. I don't want continuous flashback throughout the episode or that will just pull me from the current story.

Meh...I don't really like flashback to being with. Seems unnecessary if you tell the story right.

But again, all of the clips we've seen are from the very first episode. We've seen absolutely nothing but pictures of China White and Deadshot from the next episodes. If they do have more trick (arrows) up their sleeves they aren't going to blow them all in their first episode. That's just not a complaint that can be accurate or inaccurate. And ziplines aren't murdery.

Episode premieres tonight, and has been continuing to get great reviews. I'm definitely more interested in it.

Is he already established when he's back? If not, then I can see more arrows for different situations being developed as time goes on. That would make more sense than having trick arrows for no reason.

When he returns home, he creates the Arrow persona and does his first ... "hunt"?

Arrow premieres on Sky 1 in the UK on Monday the 22nd at 8pm...

I was going to stream online at US pace, but I think I'll just wait and watch it in HD.

I see. I don't see how not having a lot of trick arrows in the initial phase of his career would be a big deal. I think it would be more interesting to have him adapt to different situations.

I have not been following this closely. Will be watching it tonight though, because I'll give any "action" TV series at least 2 episodes. Anyone know why it's not "Green Arrow?"

''Arrow'' sounds edgier... plus ''Green'' hasn't exactly been lucky for superheroes lately.

Shouldn't there be a poll to see how long until this series gets cancelled? I'm guessing 5 episodes and it's done.

I'm gonna bet the over and go with 7. Made In Jersey the first show this year to get cancelled made it to 2 so this has gotta do better than that by accident even.

Yay, let's all be pessimists and assume the worst.
