Well I am sure can do some things on her own. And really its up to the producers as she said on what they are going to do. As for comics I believe in past interviews she said she wasn't into comics when growing up but has looked into them since she was hired. Andd really yes its grreat if actor is big fan of books too. But even if they aren't doesn't mean they can't play the role well.

I pray they do Dinah justice. They need to let Gail write some of her episodes. I also hope they whenever they reveal more about her mom, that they keep the JSA tie (it can easily be seen as a vigilantie group to outsiders) and of course make her kill it in the action department.

Does the JSA exist in the new 52 anymore, because if its not around something tells me we wont be seeing any tie ins there.

Not in the new 52 Earth, but it is forming currently in Earth 2 comic.

Just cause something isn't in the comics right now doesn't mean a film or tv show can't use those comic elements. And since arrow is a separate thing and they haave a tie in comic they can do what ever in that.

And just cause there is powered guys doesn't mean we still can't have some folks in the show. We still don't know if metas will exist in the show or not. And if they don't that still leaves guys like wildcat, sandman, and a few other jsa guys who don't have flashy powers. Or you can explain them way through science/tech means.

Earth 2 is also revamping all those heroes. So I hope we get to see the revamped version of Wildcat and Sandman before we see em on tv

They should just show us the Pilot now during August and then start the rest show in October. A lot of shows do that. I need my fix dammit.

Arrow Hits Bullseye, Nabs John Barrowman

The CW’s Arrow has made an impressive addition to its quiver.

Torchwood star John Barrowman is joining the cast of The CW’s new superhero drama in a recurring role, TVLine has confirmed.

According to EW.com, which first broke the news, Barrowman will play a character known as “Well Dressed Man,” a wealthy acquaintance of the Queen family and a prominent figure in Starling City.

Arrow premieres Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 8/7c, leading into Supernatural.

Dear lord, why? No offense to Barrowman, but I don't like him for roles that are supposed to he taken seriously. I only ever liked him as Captain Jack because he is intended to be a cheesy character.
