Hans Zimmer Scoring The Man of Steel - Part 1

I feel like Ottman's "Returns" score leaked a little bit early. I don't remember HOW early, but I seem to remember acquiring it sooner than its official release date.

Also the app music is confirmed real. :woot:

:woot: And I'm really loving the music on the MOS App.

I have a feeling that this Score is gunna be so inspiring that this will be my playlist when I always go to the gym.

Assuming if the closing credits are similar to the way Nolan closes his Dark Knight films, I can imagine the music from the recent MOS trailer playing in the background while everyone's names appear.

I always did think about this. Maybe it might even appear in the opening titles(assuming there is one).

I really liked the trailer music, and I guess I've already associated that as the "new Superman theme."

so, I'm definitely curious how similar that trailer music is to the actual score ( not just a demo track ). if it is indeed the new theme. or, if not, what the new theme really sounds like.

I'm pretty sure one of those tracks, besides the last one "Man of Steel" ( which could be a demo track ), will contain the actual theme.

I doubt they'd leave that off the soundtrack or just include it as a demo track.

I wouldn't go that far....I'll listen to Eye of The Tiger for that
nah dude, if you listen to some Scores they can definitely motivate you like regular contemporary songs. I use a lot of Tyler Bates and Hans Zimmer in my playlists.

Does anyone know when the official soundtrack of MOS will be available?

So still no better rips of the song from the MoS Experience app? :(

I like the music in the app, but the Trailer music was awesome too!

Also wanted to express before what I liked about the drumming in the trailer (and possible main) music. I opined earlier that it sounded like a combination of marching band and tribal. To me that makes it both grass-roots Americana and 'world music' -ish....which I think is a perfect metaphor for Superman.

I've got Imagine the Fire in mine. I've also got Gotham's Reckoning and The Fire Rises, but Imagine is the one that really gets me in a full on sprint on the elliptical, treadmill, or bike.

Used to blast the soundtrack from Rocky 4 in the gym all the time.

:D

And why aren't they arranged and heard the same as in the film?
Because they're usually recut and edited to fit better for the purposes of the film, but that doesn't make it always better stand-alone music.
