It does remind me of some of the ME stuff. In a good way of course.

Others have described it as Mass Effect/Halo with a touch of Blade Runner. Would you agree?

I guess...from what I can hear, but then again i could say that a lot about Hans recent work for Nolan's productions.

:wow: I return and there are samples.

Off to listen now. Hans Zimmer indahouse!

Either they haven't uploaded the missing tracks yet, or they aren't meant to be available, but it kinda sucks because the way it loads like that always makes me think it's a failure on my end :funny: and that i need to keep trying.

I LOVE how 'Goodbye my son' sounds like a mother humming a lullaby to her child. Apt since this will probably be playing as they put Kal-El into his rocket?

Hupp :waa:

I hope we hear the deluxe tracks soon as well. And the ones that currently won't play. Zimmer better get an Oscar nod for this. :BA

There are a few that aren't working for me. Anyone else having the same problem?
Yeah, happening for me too.

These samples are powerful, spacey and touching when needed. It's going to be a hard wait for the whole thing.

Cool to hear the drum patterns from the trailer and the opening piano segments.

It does remind me of those, really. Now that I'm listening to them again, it only reinforces it. :D

"If You Love These People" gives me chills already... Sounds... epic. :funny:

How long before Elevator Man comes in and implies people are drones for liking the samples?

Haven't ever played Mass Effect, but I'm totally getting Blade Runner, Gladiator and TDKR vibes from this, but with some freshness, too. Looking forward to 1-minute samples. Drums are far more intense than TDKR's.

The Krypton destruction music sounds pretty sad and well-written. And this is coming from a critic of Zimmer who isn't impressed with the Angels and Demons theme.

'Oil Rig' isn't playing around in terms of drum ferocity. 'Ignition' is pretty hard in that regard too.
'Goodbye My Son' is definitely an emotional one with the background choir.
'If You Love These People' is sounding nice and dramatic - same with 'Launch'.
'Look to the Stars' and 'Krypton's Last' have a nice Inceptiony feel to them.

It's annoying we can't access those other tracks. I really want to hear 'Flight'.

:funny: Well if liking this stuff makes me a drone, then so be it, I'm a proud drone. :D

Yeah, I was gonna say Gladiator too. I don't get a lot of TDKR vibe, though. But that would be normal, since it's Zimmer.

Zimmer of Steel returns with an angry set of drums and the same badass attitude. That 30 second sample of 'Oil Rig' is getting a good listen to. :D
