Is the music from the Nokia trailer in the soundtrack? I think it was used for the "You Are Not Alone" trailer too.

I've no doubt its popular, as are almost all Zimmer scores. At the risk of being misunderstood, though, I'll note that Justin Bieber's music is popular but many would hesitate to call it "something special." I'm not saying Zimmer is like Bieber (I'll head those straw men off at the pass) but I am saying popularity doesn't necessarily translate to quality in any direct logical fashion.
I get your point that popularity doesn't necessarily equate to quality, but they don't use Bieber music for academy award winning movies....I'm just sayin![]()
Not happy because some of your favorite actors or films didn't get nominated? I think the Academy for the most part makes very sound decisions on what is nominated. No, you're quite right - Bieber doesn't provide the musical blunt force trauma, utter lack of subtlety, and sheer inanity of the likes of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' electronic grinding, droning, and dissonance.
The Academy has lost all its credibility in judging film scores, IMO. Just as they have lost all their credibility in nearly every other category.

We were discussing winners, not nominations. I for the most part have no qualms with the nominations themselves.
throwing a fit about who ends up winning is just ridiculous
I agree, it would be ridiculous for someone to do that.
That would be "I will find him" which is included as Track 13 on both the standard and the limited edition. The closing credits of the Nokia trailer also use a portion from "You die or I do" (Track 10, standard and limited). It's called Arcade, not sure if it's in all editions of the OST. A variation on Zod's theme? I love it either way.Is the music from the Nokia trailer in the soundtrack? I think it was used for the "You Are Not Alone" trailer too.
I was pleasantly surprised by IM3 score.
you're the one that's complaining about them not choosing your favorite nominees (which yes, you ARE doing), not me.![]()
I liked the IM2 OST better.....I like AC/DC lol, but still the MOS OST just sounds a hell of a lot better than both to me![]()
no streaming yet![]()
Not yet.
'Look to the Stars', 'Flight' and 'What Are You Going to do When You're Not Saving The World?' are already bookmarked to be among my favourite cues.
And yes, the latter cue title is really long.
I think it (confirmed by WaterTower to be the trailer 3 music, extended) could possibly close out the movie and into the credits, if it's Lois asking Clark a question while at the Daily Planet.
According to the track list I saw Arcade is a bonus track on the deluxe edition of the scoreIt's called Arcade, not sure if it's in all editions of the OST. A variation on Zod's theme? I love it either way.
