i've been there. she and her boyfriend were supposedly broken up, so i asked her out. we saw superman returns and then went to dinner, her boyfriend was there with his parents and a big scene happened. only later did i find out they were never broken up and were planning to move to long beach and live together...good kisser, though.

I have watched the show for years, thought for not a couple of years now, and I've never viewed the show as staged.

Yes, it is edited so you don't see events leading to those snide comments and bad acts.

I've known people that have done those shows. It's most certainly staged.

Although I can see the producers setting up total opposites and other scenarios to ensure maximum combustion, I don't think that the "dates" are told how to act.
