Wow, :wow: just look at all the compliment he gave you. Don't give up, you're getting there.

I know!! That's why I'm just perturbedly puzzled as to WHY she didn't love it "enough".

For my next onslaught of queries I'm just saying screw it and including the map (spoilers for size and because it's not directly Cavill related :hehe:)

the Foreword, Prelude, Prologue AND Pronunciation Guide, on top of what they're asking from the book proper.

I spent ten years on this mother, so it's about time this **** paid off :hehe:

It's ok, I SEE SPIDEY :yay: I'm doing better. Because now my goal is simple: Make every agent who rejected me and my work regret that very fact. :argh:

:woot:

I will say this about Henry (so that I don't get in trouble :hehe:) He's good looking, but not "*****ebag" good looking. Humility adds to appeal, man, so :applaud

For someone who is so masculine, he has such a cute, innocent smile. :hrt:

That's basically what got him the role over Manganiello. Like Snyder said:

"Henry's just ... I love Joe too, by the way," Snyder said. "Really he was the only other guy I was thinking of, to be honest, other than Henry. But in the end, I think Henry just has this innocence too [in addition to the look and physicality required for the role], he has both, which is tricky," he explained. "Superman needs the teeniest bit of that. Not to be overt, but you like it to be there ever so slightly. I mean, he grew up in Kansas, that's just true, so you need a little of that [innocence]."

^ I like his bashful quality. Like on one hand, he's super-confident, while at the other hand, he can't believe he's Superman :)

I thought Snyder had made a comment along those lines. Who would've thought: Superman is a powerful being who is also capable of a child-like quality. Henry certainly has that in physicality. :)

Well, to me, Joe Manganiello has always looked like a caveman. :o Definitely not the best kind of look for someone who's supposed to be from a more evolved species...

Yeah, I see what you mean. Henry has much softer facial features. Manganiello looks all brawl. I can definitely distinguish the difference. Good choice Snyder.

lol a caveman? okay... :o

So Italian/Mediterranean = Cavemen to Anita and Cassandra! Wow, your true colors have shown. :p ;)
Pfft, I've been to Italy and have seen many an Italian men. My sister dates a Greek. Most of them are not cavemen. :oldrazz: I'm not sure what it is - I think it has something do with his jawline and low browbone. I feel the same way about David Boreanaz. :o

I always found Joe's character on TB to be one of the only earnest and genuinely "good" characters on the show, so I never saw him as a caveman-ish type. But while I was a supporter of him for the role when it seemed like a possibility, he was always my #2 choice behind Cavill for a reason. Cavill just seems born for it, imo.

EDIT: DEFINITELY see the caveman quality in Boreanaz, though, lol.

I've never found Boreanaz to be particularly attractive and I don't think that he is a particularly good actor. The simple fact that so many fanboys fancast him for GL and Batman always annoyed me.

Thank god he has aged out of fan casting. He's a second rate T.V actor.

Eh, that rant was a long time coming.

Joe does play a sorta nice guy on True Blood and he does a good job but I don't know if that means he was right for Superman.

Until I see Cavill's performance I have no idea if he is right for the role but he certainly looks like he is.

What would you guys think of DJ Cotrona as Superman if he had the ability to act?

Yeah I agree  I really hope Joe gets a crack at a Superhero at some point.
