Did you miss the pictures just posted earlier in this thread with Henry Cavill and Shaw when they met a few days ago? They're literally 10 posts back, post 717. Doesn't say what he thought of it but I can't imagine he'd dislike it for what it is.

Don't know for certain but they were just posted on a Twitter feed then linked to Cavill's Facebook page hours ago, probably taken in the past week I'd guess.

I think Henry Cavill is the devil. He's literally too handsome to be true. It's like he won the jackpot in the gene pool lottery. It really is ridiculous.

I am a straight guy but dang must I say he's a good-looking fella. You'd think how will other fellas have a chance when such a specimen exists in flesh and blood.

Saw the film and I thought Cavill nailed the Supes role. As for Clark Kent not sure how we'll see that identity play out in the next film. But for now I gotta give it to Cavill. He owned the role in MoS.

Comicbook.com interviewed Dan Jurgens about MOS. He praised Henry's performance and really loved what they did with Lois Lane. That's high praise in my book, because Jurgens is the BEST Superman artist (IMO), at least if we're talking pencils.

Yeah, Jurgens' art for the Death and Return of Superman, as well as Superman/Doomsday was spectacular. He's always been great at depicting alien worlds and technology. And his Superman design is flawless. Well, except when he gave Supes a mullet, lol.
