Henry Cavill IS Superman: - - - - - - Part 15

Not going back. Not about that life.

Or AM I?

Hollywood is so incestuous it's pretty icky actually. You start dating someone you can pretty find out who their last 10 exes were just from google...

While I may be in a minority here, I LOVE Big Bang Theory and I would love to see a scene where Sheldon, while loudly complaining about the inaccuracies in Man of Steel at the comic book store, sees Henry walk in and drops to the floor, writhing in ecstasy. :yay:

I'd like to see Henry show up as Superman, break all their necks and the show is done forever.

:yay:

It's not my business, but I always wonder what's the deal with celebs dating other celebs. You can't control who you fall in love with I guess. It just seems it would be wise to date non-spotlight men/women. Hollywood is very icky though.

Kaley does nothing for me. In Earth 2, I'd like to think Henry and Amy are together. ;)

Who else would be better able to understand the demands of a particular lifestyle than someone who's in the exact same position?

I love that show too.

Unfortunately, some people around here are so insecure, they can't handle a TV show poking fun at them. God forbid anyone EVER makes fun of comic book nerds, yo.

lol Insecurity, sure.... I bet it has nothing to do with the terrible writing and the characters (particularly the "break-out" character) having all the charm of a wet fart. :o

Blah, blah, blah. We've heard it all before from you. And yet, the show is still very popular so apparently a lot of people find it funny and entertaining.

I always thought it was because if you're a celeb, you never know if that "normal person" is with you just because you're famous or not. Although sometimes budding starlets will try to get with a more famous actor to be more famous themselves so....

Two go-getter celebs are usually a bad idea. One actor's ego is usually enough for a relationship, let alone two. :o

The only actor couples that work, are ones where one partner is comfortable in letting the other take the stage and vice versa. Kevin Bacon hasn't been high-profile but Kyra Sedgwick has. Brad Pitt still does movies but Angelina Jolie hasn't done them in a while. Amy Adam's fiance is an actor but she's obviously more famous than he is.

It usually doesn't work when they both have to be in the spotlight at the same time. :funny:

Well, of course.

That's not really the point. He asked why celebrities date each other.

Well that part was in response to your "they understand each other because they have the same lifestyles."

You don't need to understand lifestyles to be supportive. Military spouses are away from their families all the time. So are pilots and truck drivers, etc. Celebs mostly exist in their little cocoon because as mentioned, they cannot trust anyone from the outside unless they were friends before they got famous.

Yes. I think that's a reason why celebrities date other celebrities. I'm talking about why they hook up in the first place, not what it takes for the relationship to last.

You don't need to understand lifestyles to be supportive.

I never said or meant to imply otherwise.
