Henry Cavill IS Superman: - - - - - - Part 15

But-but the chance to see him doing the nasty is too enticing. :atp:

I really not think Cabill will get Bod now, he's Superman to the world and I think that's too big of a role to step into anther iconic role like James Bond

Han Solo and Indiana Jones beg to differ.

Calling it now: Henry Cavill will be the #1 contender for the role of James Bond after Daniel Craig calls it a day.

Yeah, come on, Henry is so gonna get the Bond role. I have absolutely no doubt about that.
:p

Exactly.

"You can't have Gandalf and Magneto in two arguably iconic roles!
You can't have Darth Vader and Mufasa be the same actors!"

Eh. If they do a great job, who cares. Besides, I think Cavill looks the most like Bond since Dalton.

I don't gamble and even I know that's too many numbers. Quit saying things are set in stone before they happen. There is no evidence of him being the next Bond other than your wishful thinking.

Really did someone compare Mufasa to James Bond and Superman? Come on people let me real about this. Superman is a 75yr old American icon, James Bond is a British/cinema icon, it is not likely they will have the same actor playing both characters at the same time.

Here's the best, most realistic life sized doll of Henry Cavill as Superman... it's showcased outside the Imax.

Would not work with his schedule right now.
But HE HAS TO BE Bond in the next years.
No way they keep Daniel Craig again. :(
This guy (Daniel) has no charisma. (and he's definitely too old)

Daniel Craig is a great Bond and has tons of charisma.

Didn't Daniel just make the most successful Bond movie ever? I would like to see him go out on top and have Skyfall be what he is remembered for instead of taking a chance on a 4th one; but after Skyfall I highly doubt the Bond people are thinking "yeah it's time for someone new".

I think he was excellent in Casino, and good even in the mess that was Solace. He was my personal favourite Bond.

Then Skyfall happened. On top of being an, IMO, poor movie, Craig was ridiculous in it. Beyond wooden.

I have hopes for the next one, but Mendes is coming back...

Daniel Craig has no charisma on my point of view.
I find him totally boring and unattractive.
He kinda looks like Bruce Willis.

He seems too old and he's not the type of guy I would like to be Bond, who is a charismatic spy and that a lots of ladies want. (in the movie, uh)

I don't watch Bond since he is Bond.

Daniel Craig is a great Bond, imo, and Skyfall is possibly my favorite Bond movie. I'm not convinced Henry would be as good in the role, tbh.

We'll see later.
For now, except Henry (and Matt Bomer) nobody wear the suit better. :p

The modern Bond films are really quite beautifully made films. Casino Royale and Skyfall are directed, shot, edited, scored and written like the best of dramas and simply from a technical and formal point of view, these are exceptionally made films.

All the production values that money can buy have been brought to bear, the supporting cast is filled with fantastic talent and even the scripts are very good. For blockbusters, these are definitely way above average fair.

So much so that even a weaker actor in the role of Bond wouldn't derail the current films.

Now, to be fair, this can all be said for all the Bond movies (LTK looked cheap though) but as a general rule Bond movies have been some of the best looking movies out there since their inception.

I thought the script was pretty atrocious for Skyfall. Really. I can't go into a great amount of detail anymore, because I only saw it once when it came out, but...

And much of the direction was quite flat.

It did look absolutely stunning, though. Roger Deakins, man.
