I literally called it in my older posts, I said people would see him at comic con and flip out saying he's tiny etc because he'd be wearing normal clothing.

When you see the guy in pants and a baggy shirt, you need to ask yourself -
Does he look like Clark? Hell yes.

The best part is, every time someone claims he's not big enough etc, that just adds weight to the idea that the characters wouldn't guess Clark could be Supes lol

I´ve have to admite this Guy SCREAMS the word SUPERMAN,JUst PERFECT,I hoped that in this stage he was a bit more Huge but it´s ok has more 10 pounds of muscle,The colour of the hair is perfect!!!

Though about half way through watching that I burst into laughter at myself, staring intently at a guys biceps for ages, waiting for them to move

The man looks like he just stepped out of the damn comic book. What terrific casting. He's got the acting ability, a truly epic Superman look to him, and he seems to really handle himself well in interviews and presents himself as a genuinely likable, down to earth kinda guy. And I really love how he looks like a cross of Welling and Reeve , to me anyway. As for his physicality. Guys, that shirt isn't doing him any favours in terms of accentuating his physique, he's gonna look pretty damn great as superman.
He has a pretty slim waist and that baggy shirt just removes that,taking away how broad his shoulders really are, making him look stocky, which he isn't.
Having said that, I just want to add more one ting. WHERE THE HELL IS THE PICTURE OF THE SUIT?

And also, Lutz has a better body type, so it's no wonder that he might look a bit better.

I think he's looking great. And if he can bring some of his natural charisma to the role then he should do very well.
Also, I don't get all this obsession with his size. He looks fine to me, and I don't want Superman to be huge anyway. Part of what's cool about Superman is that this relatively normal-sized guy can perform all these great feats.
I'm quite happy for Henry to be in the kind of shape he is in, rather than looking like a WWE wrestler, which is what some of the fans seem to want.

If anyone saw the last episode of True Blood, Joe M was wearing a flannel and he looked small as hell. Then in True Blood fashion he had to take it off and he was huge. So it's it's unless you are Arnold in his prime big, it can be really tough to tell how big someone is.

here's a side by side comparison from when he did the ew magazine and comic con yesterday. i definitely see a difference. doesn't help with what he's wearing, but i do see a difference.

He looks like he gained 5 pounds I dont care if he's gained 25 pounds he doesn't show it at all his arms are the same size just more defined from what I can see I wish hehad time to pack on 20 more pounds of bulk and then get cut

i know others have mentioned this, but maybe he's filming the smallville scenes first, then the production may take three months off for him to do some more training for the superman scenes. they do have an extra six months with the later release date. he doesn't look much bigger, but he does look like he added some muscle and that's a big shirt for him. not a huge shirt but it's not like he's in his superman suit. he could be deceptively big/cut.

No, what I meant was that given the lines you have drawn on the shirt to denote Cavill's 'true' size, as there's a good half inch gap between where his body and shirt end that must be one really thick shirt.

The shirt isnt so baggy; its certainly no more 'baggy' that some of the other shirts on display there, and the actors wearing them [with the exception of that guy from Twilight] dont even look remotely as thick set.

Anyone mention how tan he is in these interviews? Wow listen to me I can't stand all the nitpicks that go on but in my mind I'm thinking man he looks awfully tan for superman, only because I always think CR, BR and TW and they were always much paler then Henry right now. No, I'm disagreeing with you - theres' a difference. If I feel different I'm going to post exactly that for every post you make saying that he hasnt put on any size. Pesky personal opinions can be like that you see.
