because the poster is already biased towards supporting it... sure, it looks nice, but does it tell us anything besides the basics we already know? nope.

it's hard to tell the complete and accurate outcome of a 2 and a half hour movie from a single solitary 2-4 minute clip... i bet the same thing was said at the SDCC when Bryan Singer showed his incomplete footage of Superman Returns, or how the teaser and trailers all painted Superman Returns in a certain way, yet we got something different...

if he wants to profess "eureka! Genius!" for an entire movie he's never seen because of one blurry video clip, thats fine he can do that. i wont. im not that naive anymore. not after Superman Returns.

Comic Con footage looks incredible. Thus, I feel the film will be a very good film. Point?

charl, it's not that it worth it or not worth it... im simply stating my opinion, whether he likes it or not, and i'm not going to stop having my opinion just because a few people hate it, and i have that right to do so in a civil manner on here.

im not going to stop posting my thoughts simply because one or two people dont like it... i may find his optimism for this film a bit early, but that's okay, he can have it, im not going to tell him he cant have it...

he's more than welcome to be optimistic about it
i, personally, am not going to do that

and that's okay, charl... i dont hold that against you in any way. i wanted that movie to be soo great, and i was let down too

for me- and this part goes out to MOS fans as well- it's not about being pessimistic, antagonistic, hateful, "doom and gloom", or trolling... i just take thing as they are. as of right now, we dont have any news, so yes there is going to be lots of speculation not only concerning the suit, but everything else... there are so many things we still dont know, so i will simply choose to take everything as a grain of salt... some of those "grains" may taste good, and then again, some of those "grains" may taste bad... and i do hope those bad "grains" are just rumors...

i have to take things as they are. im not gonna jump ahead, and im not gonna take a step backward either. just gonna go with the flow as it is given to us

i love the cape attachment. it doesn't squeeze his neck to oblivion
i love the boot design. no more klonkers! AND NO MORE ON THE BOOTS!
i love how the cape flows. it's like it floats on the air in the SDCC footage
I LOOOOVE the actor choice for Jonathan Kent. pure awesomeness
I like the actor choice for Jor-El. i can totally see him pull it off
i love the studio thats doing the SFX (forgot the name). it actually looks REAL this time
i love the colors of the suit. it's actually red, yellow and blue! geekasm!
i love the color scheme (from what i could tell from the SDCC footage) nice and vibrant. no more of that drab, dirty, gritty, cyan stuff

there's quite a bit of stuff that i like and really like about the film... like i've said before, i want this movie to be good. I'll also say this: this movie definitely has potential...

but i wont make my final judgment until i see the whole movie

Well, it is kind of naive.

How so?

I'm a fan of The Nolans' characterization and storytelling abilities, and Snyder's visuals and action sequences and set-pieces. So, I have faith in the production. The Comic-Con footage only reinforces and enhances my confidence as well. If that's being naive, then call me an ignorant fool [for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Star Trek, The Master, Casino Royale, Iron Man, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Warrior, Tree of Life, Inglorious Basterds, etc] but I am no cynic when arriving to this film.

I'm with you, Kal. Sorry my earlier post wasn't clear. I'm in a holding pattern with this movie.

I'm just saying don't engage with DoomApex.... He/she is not worth it. I'm convinced he/she is a diehard Nolanite set to convince anyone who does not think Nolan's vision is the be all of be all that he/she is wrong. IMO, you cannot objectively debate or converse with a person like this.

Present evidence that I am a Nolanite, since you know me so well.

A Nolanite cannot find flaws in his films.

Possibly. You mean like the addition of trunks? There may be legal restrictions on what they can change because of the lawsuit.
