Craig did sign on for two more if they make them. I read it in the Rolling Stone so it must be true.

I hope Craig can do at least two more films. That would put him ahead of Brosnan and second only to Connery and Moore. I doubt any Bond actor will have as many films as those two did. First off, Connery was making one film per year for the first 5, and Moore played Bond way past the age of believablility. Moore is actually 3 years older than Connery, so anyone who thinks Moore replaced Connery because he was younger, is wrong.

Lazenby was the youngest Bond, at 30, and Connery was 32 at the time of Dr. No, so Daniel Craig at 38 was only the 3rd youngest Bond.

So if you think about it Craig is prety much the age now that Moore, Dalton and Brosnan were when they started. So that's good for Craig doing another few stints at this thing.

I get your point, but Dalton was 41 when The Living Daylights came out. Brosnan was 42 when GoldenEye was released.

Agreed. Weathered and worn out is a better word for it. When he shows up at the casino in Macau he looks better.

Daniel is aging gracfully. Hes not immortal like Depp or kept a boyish charm that Downey and Pitt has.

Think about this: Daniel is aging like Charles Bronson. The older he gets the tougher he looks. It adds to his look.

That's true but it's gonna make the love interest stuff seem kinda off if they keep going for the traditional twenty-something bond girls.

Brosnan looked a little suspect in his last couple films and don't get started on moore who was actually older than the parents of one of his on-screen love interests haha. They can avoid that if they keep the bond girls somewhat age appropriate for craig.

This has me hoping we have him as Bond till his mid to late fifties. His acting sells the part better than anyone. Even Connery.

Also, interesting tidbit I found on Wikipedia (don't know for sure if it's true). Apparently Liam Neeson turned down the role of Bond in 1994 because he WASN'T INTERESTED IN STARRING IN ACTION MOVIES. Oh, how things change.

Not necessarily. As long as she is a mature well rounded woman a bond girl can be in her late twenties and be appropriate for an older Bond. Younger woman date and hook up with men 10-15 years older than them in some cases, and im not just speaking of those with daddy issues. I could easily see a 28 year old bond girl like Vesper hooking up with a 40 something Bond. Its all about the character's quality. Not just the age.

They were but that's usually the exception. Naomie harris i believe is actually one of the oldest actresses to take on a bond girl role at 35.

I though the girls in skyfall were great actually if under used though.

just as long as he doesn't pull a Moore and do these films well into his late 50s
