Yeah, no Nolan vibes here either -whatever that means-.
Looks like a classic old Bond film for me too.
CR was like the beginning, we didn't get to see the real Bond.
QoS didn't feel like a Bond film at all.
So that's why I think this one is closer to the earlier films of the franchise, at least that what it looks like.

It seems like to me they are returning to Classic Bond here.The palm gun Is totally an homage to Licence to kill.How the younger Q scene will work will be something.It's possable In full context It Is like the classic Bond and q scenes expect Q Is now a young whiz kid.As long as q remains serious about his work and doesn't like Bond's treatment of his gadgets It can work.And with this probally Judi dench's last film as M the next film can get back to a more tradional M.The stunts.Bond's being In tuxerdo,some of his movements In action,Bond womanzing,and Bond sleeping with bad girl.The aston Martin.It seems as much as possable they want the series to return to classic mode.

It almost feels like QoS never happened.Casino Royale could be seen as stand alone Bond film origin film.And Skyfall Is link between Casino Royale and the classic Bond films.
wasn't there talk of Skyfall almost being In some kind of loop with Dr no?

I remember both Mendes and Craig talking about From Russia With Love being one of the inspirations for Skyfall. They named another Bond movie, but I can't remember which one now.

It was live and Let Die they mentioned.If Silvia Vs Bond Is anything like Bond Vs red Grant this should be something.Since From Russia Is my favorate Bond film with
Sean Connery at his peak that was good film to draw Inspiration from.

Deakins probably has the Oscar in the bag with this one. Every single shot is beautiful.
And Bardem already looks interesting.

That really was an amazing trailer.

I've never realized how an important part of the franchise Judi Dench has become. She makes a fantastic M, it really fits and works well together with Craig's Bond, much more than Brosnan's.

Fantastic trailer, looks like a real return to form. I especially liked what I saw of the Bond/Silva scene, because it looks to be one of those great confrontations between Bond and his villain, like Bond/Dr. No or Bond/Red Grant in their big scene before they finally fight.

The gun that responds only to Bond's palm print is awesome. Such a simple gadget, but still very cool.
