James Bond In Skyfall - Part 8

The gun that responds only to Bond's palm print is awesome. Such a simple gadget, but still very cool.
Then experimental nature of the device may explain why the gun to which it is attached is so archaic. It's probably the most convincing way to bring the PPK back into use at this stage.

I'm pretty sure Bond was using the ppk in QoS.

anyone noticed[BLACKOUT] the girl which is tied to the fallen sculpture, basically the direction silva is going to shoot with his pirategun ^^[/BLACKOUT]

Yeah I can recall the ppk in QoS.

Also I wonder what Silva means when refers to himself and Bond as "the two survivors" ?

Caught both the new domestic/international trailers a few hrs ago., both looked great. Some cool scenes teased and great to learn more story beats for the film. Can't wait to nov to come already.

So no-one thinks Silva's hair is reminiscent of Christopher Walker's Zorin in AVTAK? He seems like another creepy type.

This looks great, but then again the trailer for Quantum of Solace looked great as well and that one was a huge let down imo. :argh:

Its not like newer guns are much better than an old PPK, Colt 1911 is still a great gun used still heavily used everywhere.

So Silva is like a Spanish national who worked for British Intelligence?

I'm thinking he had some ties to MI6 in some way. Not like a Trevelyn type though.

can anyone make a couple of avatar gifs for me? I'd like the back and forth between Q and Bond and the train scene from the previous trailer where the Skyfall title appears over Bond and not after...if that makes any sense at all

Is it me or is the villain being confined by the heroes but actually still being in control all the rage these days. I remember it being more of a one time thing back in the Joker days.

Considering that it was used in also Hanna and Mission Impossible I'd say it goes both ways.

While the PPKs is a great gun it is a .38 caliber and by todays standards large for that caliber. Bond could have a smaller, more effective, and just as reliable 9mm.

Deakins probably has the Oscar in the bag with this one. Every single shot is beautiful.
And Bardem already looks interesting.

That really was an amazing trailer.

As much as I love the photography in this, I think Mihai Malaimare Jr. will probably get it for the Master, which is shot in its entirety in 65mm.

This will be without question movie of the year for me. Bond drinking with a scorpion on his hand, damn, Bond the original action hero is back!

Not sure if serious....

Hannibal Lector did it best. :o

Looks cool. Very heavily influenced by "You Only Live Twice" and "The World is Not Enough," but these movies always replay with certain ideas. Looks fun.

Better get Dark Raven the toespert on the case to be sure! :D
:funny:

How's about head to waist instead? :ninja:
