I don't think anyone at WB doesn't know that. They all know and understand The Joker. Probably even better than some of you. They simply made the conscious decision of offering us a very different Joker than what we're used to. This time it didn't work.

And what makes you think that Leto's Joker "didn't work"? What didn't work was them marketing the heck out of his role and then idiotically removing half of his scenes from the movie. The #1 complaint I've herd about the film is that there wasn't enough of him. A bunch of grumpy fanboys complaining on the Internet does not a failure make.

Unless he decides he doesn't want to do it anymore, we probably will. A lot of people liked his Joker and Harley together. If Robbie gets a Harley movie, I'd be real surprised if Jared Leto isn't in it.

Take it with a grain of salt, but the 4Chan rumours (which have so far confirmed Dafoe and now Manganiello in the DCEU) has a Joker cameo in Justice League and him being relegated to the sidelines again as a supporting/subplot character (along with Harley) in The Batman solo.

Now the JL cameo actually sounds fun reading the description, but I really hope we get a meatier role for the Joker in a future DCEU film the last thing we need is another 10 minute walk on, especially in the Batman movie.

Eh Maybe's comment about Joker not being in was related to a different article which stated that all these celebs in Justice League were going to be in X country (forgot what it was already.) for filming soon, and they listed Jared Leto among the other cast as if it were fact. Later on they edited the article to make it more of speculation than fact. A bunch of sites reposted and reported Jared as confirmed before that edit was made though.

I wouldn't shed any tears if we never saw Leto's Joker again. Even with the screentime Leto had in Suicide Squad, I didn't care for him (which is disappointing, because despite the try-hard look for the Joker, I was pretty adamant about how I thought that Leto would knock it out of the park acting-wise).

Love him or hate him, I'm going to have to agree with the video that MovieBob made about how he would "fix" the DCEU Batman. I love the thought of Leonardo DiCaprio being the new Joker, to be quite honest. It probably will never happen, but I love the idea of it happening.

I know that a lot of people feel sorry for Jared Leto over how his scenes got butchered and whatnot. In a way, I feel bad for him as well ... But a part of me thinks that the stuff that got cut might have hurt the film (and Leto's performance) had some of his stuff been left in.

With the stuff we saw in the movie, I am not convinced that Leto's cut scenes were "amazing." I think he's pretty try-hard and cringey in the stuff they left in. I'm not convinced the cut scenes are somehow fantastic ...

I mean come on, give anyone else the same exact bits Jared got in the film and it still wouldn't be any better.

You do realize that a lot of movies have stuff cut out, right? Most of the time (not all of the time), for a good reason, right?

Is it possible that the cut Jared Leto Joker scenes were amazing? Absolutely. I think it's just as possible that the cut scenes were awful, too.

If you like Leto's Joker ... Good for you. I did not care for him, based on what was shown in the final film.
