Jared Leto IS The Joker - Part 4

Wasn't there some report of this particular version of Joker having tattoos before we got the Official Joker pic ?

Edit : I remember that same report had claimed that this time we will get a Joker who has operated as a thug on streets of Gotham in past.

That was Lex not Joker

There was a rumor. There was also a rumor that Lex was a tatted up street thug. I take this as Ayer and Snyder having a laugh at that.

Yeah, I now remember reading that, who knows, thug Joker might have got some beat-down from Bats, and lost some of his teeth. :o

The reveal is awful. Worse than I could have imagined. I kept seeing all the various teases and each of them made me feel worried that Leto's Joker would just be a bit underwhelming to look at with his face looking funny without eyebrows. As far as I'm concerned this is utter crap and putting on a shirt at some point is hardly going to save it.

I'm still hopeful about the movie since there seems to be a lot of elements to be interested in, but I could hardly care less about Leto's Joker at the moment.

Can someone manip this image of Jared Leto from Fight Club to make it look like the Joker. That way we can at least know how he lost his teeth.

He lost them fighting the Hulk.
"HULK SMASH white face."

GOTH HAM
I don't want any, it has black makeup covering it.

To be fair, we haven't seen Leto's Joker in the context of the film. The white background in the picture certainly doesn't help, since it gives it a photo-booth type-demo-rock-album look. So hopefully he looks better in action and with some proper lighting and setting.

Well, ya know, they make "edgier" movies

Can someone who keeps throwing around the words edgy and modern sarcastically please explain to me why these attributes are so bad?

This design deeply disappoints me.

Nothing inherently bad with being edgy. There is also nothing inherently good about it.it is a buzzword rendered meaningless by overuse, one of many buzzwords that studios keep trying to substitute for good. I don't care if you are the edgiest, most hardcore movie or the sweetest most playful one, as long as its a good movie.

I also don't find Man of Steel to be particularly edgy. That's not a criticism of the movie, but when they keep talking about it as if it is, it rings false and not sure what it means for what they consider edgy moving forward.
