I don't want her bad, but I do want her interesting and right now she is pretty boring. Bring on Checkmate and give her something interesting to do.

I think sometimes Lena should just drop the American accent. When she was sitting with James in the last episode, she sounded more Irish most of the time than American. Just say they sent her off to Ireland somewhere when she was young, and that's why it creeps in a lot.

a lot of fanfic's have her mother being Irish, or her at an Irish boarding school... it's a common theory to explain away the fact Katie can't do a perfect American accent

Irish boarding school makes more sense. If her mother is Irish, why doesn't Lillian Luthor have an Irish accent or slip into one? Why is it only Lena does? She should have less of one.

What do you mean? She always calls her her mother, and Lillian always refers to her as her daughter. Who is she then?

Lex and Lena have the same father; Lena's birth mother is deceased.

I really think they should play up the Irish side of her. It would make her more distinctive. She could take her friends to an Irish pub in one episode. They could do some Irish dancing. Maybe Kara will have a go along with Lena, who will show her how to do it.

I think the Lillian actress and Katie kinda look similar too.

If they got Keira Knightley to guest star, she could play Lena's long lost sister.
