I find it interesting that its Gambol who gets the abusive father story, and Racheal who gets the wife story, its like he'll choose a story to best suit his audience at any given time.

I wanted to know what Joker would have told Batman when Joker knocks him off at first.

maybe a story on how he got the scars from the mob as punishment 4 sumthing. since he'd be talkin to a crime fighter.

lol yea, and both revolting in some sorta way!! jon leguizimo or however you spell his name!! done a pretty good job in what otherwise was a disgrace of a film. MJW did pretty well aswell considering the cript was a pile of crap.

Driven into madness? Assuming that the wife story was true he was still crazy enough to cut up his own face. Maybe he just hid it better.

I still think the father story is true since he mentioned it twice but obviously he was crazy enough to try to relate/create the stories to/for the people he was threatening.

He didn't mention the story twice, he just showed that he had some sort of hatred for his father. I doubt his father gave him the smile though.

With the way the Joker is, I think he had some sort of bad parenting or something. If not, he was just ****ing nuts from the get go, or chose to go down that path. Either way, he definitely did the scars himself but we'll never know for sure, and rightfully so.

yea you can't say what he definatly done, its just my preferance that he done it himself. i could just imagen him looking in the mirror and just bursting into hysterical laughter and crudely slicing his face apart. that would be bonechillingly awesome IMO

That could be anything though. The scars are what could have driven him insane. Those aren't clues at all. People who enjoy pain don't always mutilate their face. Insane people don't always mutilate their face.

Hell he could have actually been ripping off mob dealers get shot in the face one day(in the left cheek) the mob gets a ahold of him and says "why don't we even you up" hence the smooth curve on the right side.

There is no way of knowing he did it himself or anything else.

yea there is no way to tell, thats what i like about it. we can just use our imaginations which is the best thing about it IMO. and if you havn't got a very good imagination.......well thats tough luck!

ya, with how the wounds are on him it is definitly a whole lot of fun to speculate how he got them, but there is absolutly no way of knowing for certain just what story you would like.

I'm more curious as to how old he is, and who spawned the sick son of a *****.

The two wounds are different so while it might not have been a bullet it was definitly something piercing taking a huge chunk out of his cheek. The other looks like it might have been from a blade cutting but again it could have been from a ripping zip line. The other side could have been caused by shrapnel the possibilities are endless.

To me it always looked like both sides were cut by some kind of knife or razor. It had to be something really sharp because the wound is really deep.

It is certainly possible it happened to him while he was younger but also remember that would make his certain look distinct and definitly give him an "identity" and have him be well known within circles.

Also probably 30 and depending on his origin his parents could have been a lovely christian family for all we know.

yea my mate who just got back from tha 'ghan his mate got hit in the face with shrapnel and it sorta reminds me of the jokers left cheek. its straight but jagged if you know what i mean.
