The Dark Knight Rises Life after Nolan: What comes next... - Part 1 Unless it's actually Part 2...o - Part 2

I'm a fan of a Black Mask/Mr. Freeze reboot/loose sequel idea myself.

It would be cool to see Batman fighting gangsters for a while...then all of a sudden Freeze pops out of nowhere. That would be a shock for any crimefighter who's only used to theatrical thugs :hehe:

It would also be the perfect change from Nolan's realistic villains, to the not realistic brand.

Mr.Freeze as he appeared in the BTAS episode Heart of Ice could be very interesting.
He there used thugs but instead of making him want revenge he wants to find a way to cure Nora

That, combined with a Die Hard 3-esque villain plot (Freeze is seemingly out to avenge his boss for what happened to Nora, but in reality he's just trying to rip him off everything in order to go on with his research) would be aces.

I allways had an idea of a movie with the riddler and hugo strange where batman tries to use the help of phsychiatrist hugo strange while Hugo tries to discover Batman's identity

Christina Hendricks from Mad Men should play Poison Ivy

Yes. She is pretty. I would like to say hello to her one day. And take her to church.

i think the general audience is starting to become very skeptical of reeboots in general, i think the best(business) decision would be not to try and tell the origin story again.

The Batman origin is one of those things everybody just knows his parents die he fights crime, i think even some of the most hardcore batman fans would struggle to sit through his origin as the main plot again.

LOl, where did you find that smiley?

Eh, the smiley wasn't that bad. I've heard worse description of what people would do to Hathaway in the Catwoman thread.

Villains I'd like to see for a Reboot (not all in the same film, of course)

Clayface
Riddler
Mr. Freeze
Killer Croc

And maybe a more faithful, yet still realistic, batsuit, like the armored skin Arkham Asylum suit.

I want Tomas Alfredson to direct a Batman film.

Badly.

If its black, but not gray. Batman Live brought that fantasy into being...and I hope we never see the gray costume.

Michael Keaton's B89 outfit was THE best and most faithful.

And now the relaunch has made Batman's costume a combination of BB and TDK. I like it though.

The suit from the first movie wasn't exactly the best, couldn't move his face

It had that flaw. But they all did until TDK.

But Keaton's costume was the most faithful, it was essentially just a black version of the costume at the time. The symbol had to be changed due to copyright issues, but it was still the closest.

He could move his face, but not his neck. Not by much, at any rate. I think the TDK head on the Begins body would be a great suit, with maybe a bit more separation in the plates.

For a "soft reboot", I definitely want Freeze as the main baddie with a secondary villain that we havent seen on film before.

Brian de palma would be great for a batfilm. But he's too old for that now i think.

So there are much directors who could make a cool batfilm.
