i think something with Batman and Robin first. After that, I wouldn't mind seeing a Batman Beyond film

My oddball, leftfield, no chance in hell fantasy would have David Lynch adapting "Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On Serious Earth" as a one-off arthouse deconstruction of the Batman legend.

TDK's Joker wasn't all that violent? He cut grins onto people instead of using laughing gas and killed someone almost every time he was on screen. I think the only scene (other than the ending) where he didn't kill someone was at the party. And that definitely wasn't from a lack of trying... I mean, he did throw Rachel out of the window. And even then, he was having people killed in other parts of the city, with the judge's car bomb and the acid in the commissioner's drink. IMO, the Joker doesn't need to be turned into a monster from a horror movie. TDK's Joker is as close to that as he should get.I think that an adaptation of All Star Batman and Robin would be cool. Make Batman psychotic, and the villains extremely dangerous (sure Heath's Joker killed a few people, but he didn't seem all that horribly violent to me).
Seeing a child Robin on film would be much like watching those disgusting, cringeworthy Zorro Jr. scenes in the last Zorro movie. In my opinion, there is no possible way to make a young Dick as Robin work on film.
Lol, true, but after the BB criticism that the fights were too "fast" and closely edited together, I don't think they had much of choice but to slooooow it down for all to see.
I'm also not sure just how much they can do with that suit anyway. Even though it allowed for head movement, TDK suit was actually heavier than the BB one. IF they ever go the cloth route, I imagine the fights would be a little more...acrobatic, for those wishing to see that
Pretty sure after Nolan's done with his three movies we'll get a JLA movie.

Way of the subject at hand, I'm sure; but back to the thread question:
I hope the go in a reboot direction after Nolan, and keep the tone of 'Bond' in mind. I don't mean reboot in the since of what Spidey is doing, but using the idea of 'everyone now knows the origin, now we can just tell stories,' hence my Bond reference. Jump ten years ahead, focus on a few comic-story-arcs. . I don't care.
I just think Batman could very easily be handled like the Bond movies: about every five-six years, get all new people and let said people tell a story, using BB as the origin and just telling stories.
This way the tone can shift between comic-booky adventures, Frank Miller style grittiness, Burton style gothic fantasy and Nolan realism. Just like Bond shifts between camp and serious action.Way of the subject at hand, I'm sure; but back to the thread question:

I would love to see Batman Beyond.
We already have seven movies. Batman '89, Batman Returds, Batman Forever, Batman and Robin, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.![]()

Yeah i mean the tone and style might vary but we have a certain story here. Bruce becomes batman, gets Dick in his third year, Jason, Tim, Knightfall, Earthquakes, blah, blah, blah.Definitely. It's a good opportunity to start over, with a new interpretation. And if they're serious about the 7 movies bit, I can't see why it can't follow the overall comic book continuity to a degree.
I agree. People know his origin now. If they ever need to revisit it, just add a flashback, no need to go over that again even if they change continuity. His parents died, he became the night.Way of the subject at hand, I'm sure; but back to the thread question:

Beyond is awesome but i agree with you that i'd rather have some movies about Bruce first. Beyond is mostly about him, so i'd rather they ve set things up first before they show him as an old man.Really Batman Beyind live-action? I hope The Riddler, Mr Freeze, Ivy and others get their chance before they do JLA or Beyond.
