Got Cable's Spear specialization. I'm never going back. :awesome:

Tried leveling Rogue. Sadly I just don't feel it when I play her. I bought her with cash, and so far she's like one of the most disappointing characters to me. Tried to focus on her regular tree for now, because I didn't want to run around and build a tree with stolen powers. She seems to do too little damage and is a total Spirit sink.

Tried Cable after her, and I somehow build him into a mostly melee character. The Spear is fun.

same here and it was dissappointing bc she was one of the more expensive characters. I thought she would be fun bc of her unique powerset but she was boring.

Cable is super fun! One of my favorites. He was alright before but he got so much better after his Level 52 Review. And it's a Psimitar, not spear...lol. So glad they added that to him bc that era from the books was my favorite for him. I like how Gazillion is well versed in Marvel lore bc most just view Cable as a gun guy when he's been so much more.

Reached lvl 47 and unlocked Psimitar Slam. Now the murder can truly begin! :D

Tried to download didn't meet the qualifications in order for it to run. :(
How's Storm in this game?

dang how old is your PC? This game has very generous requirements as even my 3 year old Macbook can run it. I have to lower the specs but it still runs.

I havent used Storm in a while but she was considered one of the best starter character when that was a thing. She has some really great area based powers and her move set is divided into lightning, wind and ice.

Ding! Reached lvl 60 with Cable.

Nice! Now you get to really unleash the awesomeness that is he.

One thing Id love for them to introduce in 2016 is the ability to quickswap characters. Like map characters to the right numerical keys for example. Press 1 and it instantly swaps to Character 1, and so on....

I think its funny how MH 2015 was released in mid 2014 and MH 2016 wont come till early 2016. Cant wait for the update and the visual improvements it brings. Wonder what that will do to the required specs

Yeah it's 4yrs old so I wasn't too surprised. I went on YT to see what all she can do and she looks like a beast when it comes to damaging lots of opponents at the same time. I was also impressed with how the graphics look now compared to when the game first launched. Her ultimate and astonishing costumes are pretty cool.

I'm looking forward to the controller support that comes with the 2016 update. Hopefully it works well. That's gonna make the game a lot more relaxing to play.

I wonder how that will actually workout though bc the way the game is made, its built for a mouse point and click set up. I can imagine using the right analog stick to be a bit weird unless they overhaul it in some way. I hope using powers and switching up between powersets is seamless and intuitive

And Hawkeye to lvl 60. Gonna try Black Widow next.

And now Black Widow is lvl 60 too. Who's the next lucky character.

Sweet, just crafted the Enhanced Mar-vell costume. Now if I only had Captain Marvel.

Did you pay for her or was she free? I always thought she looked lame

Ive never done any crafting or enchanting. That looks too complicated and intimidating for me

Have you ever gotten a costume from a Midtown Fortune card? Never for me

I don't think I ever got a single costume drop in the entire time I played the game. And I'm at 555 hours. Nada, zilch, nothing.

But costume crafting isn't that complicated. Take any 3 costumes that you don't like, in my case it's almost every default costume, plus 2 unstable molecules. It also costs 200.000 credits. Got some duds, but I also got plenty of enhanced costumes out of it. I think I got Enhanced Female Loki, Hawkeye and Black Panther in one day. My luck was exceptionally high that day. Over time also crafted Gambit's Death Costume, and now Mar-Vell. Not sure if I also crafted Female Ghost Rider, or if I just bought that.

I actually bought her. Only because she was cheap, I got 500Gs because it was a Steam pack, and used her character STASH for all of my collected Uniques. Think I was lucky and even managed to craft that version of her when she was in the Thunderbolts. Looks pretty awesome.

Marvel Heroes launches the Danger Room feature

December 10, 2015 10 Comments

In the comics, the Danger Room is the aptly named training facility for the X-Men, a room which is dangerous so that the superheroes are ostensibly ready for the real dangers in the real world. Marvel Heroes is bringing the Danger Room to the game with a very different but equally useful purpose.

You aren’t going to be just training for the next time Magneto tries to blow up a rocket, you’re going to be taking on a variety of randomly generated scenarios in a new sort of endgame content. Danger Room scenarios are awarded as new random drops, allowing players to jump in and run through unique random battles with buffed and heretofore unexpected mechanics. You can also get a login bonus of free scenarios for logging in during the launch event, which is also offering a 100% experience bonus for the duration. Check out the FAQ on the danger room for the fine details on corner cases, and get ready to explore all sorts of new combat lineups that you would never expect.

Nice. I can't risk buying boxes anymore. The chance of getting dupes is too high now for me. I'm waiting now for 50% off sales for costumes and characters, or spend Splinters to get new ones.

Not quite sure who to get next though.

I think I might do it again. Hope to score Magik, Nightcrawler, Iceman or BP

I went and bought another set and got some duds. Juggernaut and duplicate Loki. Costumes were a Squirrel Girl and Captain America one. Despite this, Im tempted to buying one more set. Damn that would be $30 down the drain

Against my better jugement, I bought another one. All I needed was $5 worth of Gs. Got Classic and X-Factor Gambit. NICE! For characters, I got duplicate Star Lord and Ghost Rider. Oh well, at least I got two costumes for a character Im currently using

Marvel Heroes : New End-Game Mode - The Danger Room - Deployed

Posted Dec 13, 2015 by

Marvel Heroes 2015 end-game players will want to check out the new game mode called "The Danger Room".
The Danger Room is an event that will feel different each time it is run due to randomized levels, missions, bosses, hazards and modifiers. A special item dropped called a Danger Room Scenario can be used to create instanced, multi-stage simulations.
A specific hub for the Danger Room has been created that also features a new crafter, vendor and has powers enabled. Each party will see their own version of the hub and can only be reached by players of level 60.
You can find out more about Danger Room by reading the handy FAQ on the Marvel Heroes 2015 forum.

EXCLUSIVE: Iron Fist Joins the Battle in Gazillion's "Marvel Heroes 2015"

CBR has the exclusive first look at and details behind the year's final addition to the free-to-play game's ever-expanding roster of heroes.

Read it now on CBR...

With the exception of January, every month of the last year was celebrated by "Marvel Heroes 2015," the the free-to-play, action-packed, role-playing PC game, with the release of a new, playable character. There was Winter Soldier in February, She-Hulk in April, and Ant-Man in July. Now, Gazillion Entertainment is set to close out the year by bringing Iron Fist to the game later this week.

But before he arrives in-game, CBR has the exclusive first look at how the martial arts master will look in the game. We also have a look inside the character's design and development courtesy of Gazillion's Art Director Chris Frenton, Content Designer Ryan Collins and System Designer Anthony Gallegos.

CBR News: First, why are you guys adding Iron Fist now? He doesn't have a movie coming out, the Netflix show won't be out for a while --

Iron Fist brings two costumes with him

Anthony Gallegos: A lot of the staff has been trying to get Iron Fist into "Marvel Heroes" for a long, long time. While we don't know Marvel's exact plans for the future of Iron Fist, we do know this: We want him in our game!
To that end, it really just came down to a matter of fan/developer wants, scheduling, and a desire to get ahead of that content schedule. Besides, there's nothing stopping us from updating the character with new skins or a powers rework based on Marvel taking him to new places. We've done the same for other characters, such as Daredevil.
What does Iron Fist bring to "Marvel Heroes 2015" that existing characters don't?
Gallegos: We have a number of melee fighters in our game, but Iron Fist is easily the flashiest. We took a lot of inspiration from the comics, and we believe his ability to switch into various stances such as "Tiger" or "Crane" will help him stand out. Not only does switching stances grant him his powerful Chi resource, it also changes the visuals of many of his powers, including some of his animations.
How did you pick which of his moves he would have and which he wouldn't?
Gallegos: Picking which powers we include is always a difficult process. A lot of it comes down to figuring out the core of what makes the character special. In Iron Fist's case, we felt was his use of various forms during fights. Once we have that, we figure out how those powers fit into mechanics that we already have or can implement without having to totally teach players new systems.
I'd be lying, though, if I said it also wasn't based around the desire to capture or present our takes on some of the coolest Iron Fist moments from comics and other media.
Is one of his moves the Five-Point-Palm Exploding Heart move Uma Thurman did in "Kill Bill"?
Gallegos: Ha! No, sorry, we don't have the Five-Point-Palm Exploding Heart -- but we do have Fury of Five Hundred Fists. It doesn't make the character's heart explode, but there's a good chance it'll send them flying if it defeats them.
In designing how Iron Fist would look in the game, did you reference any specific comics or eras?
Ryan Collins: As with any character, we looked to everything, from his early appearances to his most recent, as inspiration. This is probably most immediately evident with his two costumes available -- one fairly modern, one very classic -- but we've definitely looked to the pages of over forty years' worth of comics. With a job like this, "research" is just plain fun.
When it came to designing him, what was the hardest thing to get right?

Though there are no special combination moves, the game features specific dialogue when Iron Fist and Power Man are teamed together

Chris Frenton: There was nothing really "hard" about Iron Fist. We have done this type of character enough that there were really no surprises. I wish we had more time to learn Kung Fu, though, since we are basing his animations on actual Shaolin stances. Unfortunately, we don't have any Martial Arts masters in our employ, so there may be a few things we did not get quite right in regards to actual martial art moves. I even tried to get Gazillion to send me to a Shaolin monastery to train, but they didn't go for it.
Did Marvel give you any notes about the character's design?
Collins: Marvel's feedback is always very helpful and welcome, and it's always great to hear from them that we're in a good place after we've submitted something. For the most part, they trust us to follow our own vision. We've worked with Marvel a long time, and they know that we know our stuff.
With Iron Fist, other than a minor costume tweak and some changes to coloring in particle effects, they seemed pretty happy.
In the game, Iron Fist is voiced by actor Johnny Yong Bosch, who was one of the Power Rangers. What was it about his voice that made you think he'd be perfect for this role?
Collins: A good voice is more than just the voice itself. While it's true enough that Johnny's voice stands out on its own as a great performance, and that his voice fits the character of Danny Rand at a surface level, what really sells it is the fact that his voice is so quickly associated with an iconic martial artist of pop culture. He's perfect for the role.
As fans know, Iron Fist's best friend is Power Man, aka Luke Cage. If you play with both characters in the game, do they do anything cool, like a special dual attack, or maybe go out for lunch and reminisce about the good old days?
Gallegos: Ha! Well, we don't currently support synergy attacks between characters, but they will have unique dialogue that will trigger around one another, where Iron Fist might acknowledge Luke and his relationship.
Iron Fist is just the latest character to join "Marvel Heroes," which has a ton of characters already. Are there any that you'd really like to see added to the game?
Gallegos: The list never ends. Just about every Marvel character has a champion inside the studio.
Personally speaking, I'd really like to some of the Inhumans to the game, especially Black Bolt. Though I admit it'll be hard to figure out how to make his powers awesome without him shattering the whole game just by speaking a word.
