I don't agree with that at all, Peter and Mary are just the 'destiny couple', it's predictable that whoever he gets with in between will ineviably lead back to her. It's about time they changed that.:o

There I disagree.
If I HAD to marry Ororo off RIGHT NOW he is the best choice out of the Marvel Universe:

None of the Male Xmen come close save Forge and he wimped out.

Thor Might have been Okay but only on a power thing,... and He was dead until real recent.

Who else is there - Doom?

The Panther has a history with her.

Panther probably got first licks (No pun intended)

Panther is the only one I'm aware of that has no apparent fear of her under any circumstance.

I'm thinking I'd have bigger issue with Psyloc getting hitched with her,.. she has been written with Bi-tendacies.

I think that Doom getting out of Hell simply by Moji's passing just adds to the import and power of it. How they handled it AFTER the fact is what was bad.
exactly,.. HE WAS IN HELL W/O HIS BODY.

WHERE DID HE GET THE BODY AND GEAR ON EXITING HELL?????

Yet you wrote this.

I think BP and Storm getting married fall under this category.

Actually,... if they had killed the Phoenix,.... brought back Jean Grey AND STOPPED,...

Everybody would've been happy.

Phoenix would manifest on the next person on it's list like it was doing before Jean Grey and the X-men as a whole would've avoided alot of mess.

Eeenh,... the Destiny thing was originally reconned in after gwen was dead and buried - starting with MJ seeing Peter arrive home as Spiderman while still in Highschool..

Are you an insider at Marvel?Half the stuff you mentioned there is simply rumour.
Take Note on HOW MUCH OF WHAT I HAVE SEEN COMING IS HAPPENING NOW!!!!!!!

But then there would be no stories to tell.

Not to mention the possibility of Reed and Sue breaking up as a result of Civil War. But hey, Joe Q believes marriage is good if it involves two completely different characters created exclusively for two completely different comic books each with completely different milieus. Never mind that such pairings in the past have never, ever worked in the long run.

I'm hating how Marvel will soon revert to the status Quo of the fan base and lose the current improving quality of the writing to satisfy the narrow-minded who've been *****ing non-stop over the last three years.

SAD SIGH.

New Avengers Ends,.. Cage And Spidey go back to being anything but Avengers.

Hawkeye will not stay dead,.... even though other personal fav's with exception of the Phoenix will stay dead.

The Thing series ends thru lack of knowledge in my opinion coupled with Marvels new policy to cancel a book that doesn't grab a large fanbase within something like 5-6 issues.

Yes,... I wouldn't mind seeing the return of Thor,.. and fully expect a Cage/Rand sort of friendship with Thor/Beta-Ray Bill but:

To quiet the whining of fanboys who believe any change is bad change, (Don't argue with me,.. they are out there!)

Give long-time readers the warm and fuzzies by returning the Avengers to the weak, damaged, in some parts grade C heroes with two or three ubers leading that has been the norm for over a decade.

Step out of character with Both Storm and the Panther by having them go through changes just by getting Married.

Looking like they will be giving Stark yet another major physical injury that only the Armor can save him from.

New Warriors dead for good, Young Avengers probably disbanded after the return of Ant Man and the Vision to the Avengers.

I think I could go on,.. but lets get past the hateful response first.

Varient bro! I got love for ya, but f**k that!

Well,.. a being dropped from space and whupped everything in it's path, including Alpha Flight,.... When the Avengers encountered it,.. after Binary was brought online and Ironman was de-armored, Peter the genuis determined that the being contanined thousands if not millions of mutant powers that USED to belong to the depowered mutants on Earth.

If the Avengers do their job, they will resolve this,.. which would mean in MOST cases that the powers would go back to those who were still alive after House of M.

Which mean's Jonto gets a reprieve,..

What I'd like to read would be those powers where their original owner didn't survive the loss would get sprinkled among those with similar powers,.. Sort of a doubling or tripling of abilities w/o concequences.

That is not what happened at all.

I have no idea what New Avengers book you read, but in the one I read only Magneto got his powers back.

How in the flying heck did you get the impression every mutant would get their powers back??

He didn't say they did happen. He said that when this is all said and done, it most LIKELY will happen.

I have no idea why anyone would read New Avengers in the first place.

Iron Man, Sentry, AND Ms. Marvel in hopes of good stuff but constantly getting teased?

Ms. Marvel isnt a member of New Avengers....officially.

She's in it more than Sentry or Ronin is. Hell, the "vagrant #2" is in it more than they are.

Why the heck would they do that? Marvel setup House Of M because there were too many mutants. So many that the idea of them as a vast minority was disappearing, and it was getting rediculous keeping track of all these mutants, and the school was fool to bursting point.

That's the reason House Of M happened.

Marvel would undo it just because of a handfull of whiners?

No, they would undo it because one day they will run out ideas and just decide, "hey, lets give all these people their powers back!" Its happened before, it will happen again.

It's a fact that Marvel intended the effects of House Of M to be long lasting if not permenant. Maybe one day they all will get their powers back. But not for a long time.

He doesn't care what the true Fans want cause we are only about 25 percent of the paying reader.s

Kids don't read comics.

If that helps you sleep better at night, sure.

I'm not as pessimistic (spelling??) as some people. The head honchos at Marvel recognised that there were far too many mutants, they solved the problem. To undo that wouldn't make sense.

And... claiming the Spider-Man we'd known for years was just a dirty clone did make sense? I think you're mistaking pessimism for pragmatism. If sales begin to fall on the X-titles or the creative well starts to run dry, I think you'd be surprised at what suddenly starts to make sense to the people running Marvel.
