A. Just because Ashley isn't wearing bulky plate armor doesn't mean she isn't wearing armor. We have no idea what kind of materials her costume is made of.

B. You guys are fine with space wizards running around using space magic or any number of scientific inaccuracies, but some of the characters don't look armored enough... that's where you draw the line? Really?

C. Has Liara become a Justicar?

I think its just supposed to be evocative of Samara's outfit, sort of like how Ash's is using her old red/white color scheme instead of the blue that we've seen already.

Isn't Ashley a Spectre now? I assume she'd change outfits since her old one was for the Alliance. Doesn't matter for me since I'm going to keep Kaidan alive anyway, I didn't like Ashley & her xenophobia. Actually, I didn't really like any of the human females in the game besides your assistant in ME2.

I still can't stand Ashley as a character anyway... She always rubbed me the wrong way with her space racism, and then she went and crossed that ****ing line and killed Wrex.... ***** can wear tin foil for all I care

what is she doing out of the kitchen anyway?



and that is YOUR failing as a squad leader and not bulking up your persuasion points....Ive played through ME1 at least 4 or 5 times and have always had enough persuasion to calm Wrex down and keep him as a squadmate

Actually outside of Kaiden, no one died on my watch period.

Yes, I'm being totally judgmental based on his face alone -- BUT he looks like a total bro. I mean, I halfway expect the back of his armor to have a giant 'Natty Ice' emblem.

I don't like his face, dammit. No big deal though, can't wait for the inevitable Sheppard/Vega man action.

My hope is that your crew will have a casual outfit on-board the Normandy like Shep, and something more armored for when they're out in the field.

Man, I hope not. Zaeed was awesome besides not having as much development as the others. Since there's 4 (technically 5) ME1 squad mates in the game, hopefully there'll be 4 ME2 squad mates too. I'm hoping for Mordin, Thane, Grunt & Jacob/Zaeed/Legion to return. I think Grunt is a guaranteed since Wrex isn't returning in a big role & Shepard is Grunt's battle master.

Awesome, it pleases me to no end when my gripes are proven wrong. No sarcasm whatsoever, I just want a really good game that doesn't invoke the irritating "girls must clearly wear less" rule.

So can someone make a list of characters who's confirmed to be in your squad, confirmed to not be in your squad, and characters who are uncomfirmed now?

Garrus, Tali, Liara, Virmire Survivor, Vega are all confirmed squadmates thus far.

If I remember correctly - Mordin, Legion, Wrex, Zaeed, Kasumi have been confirmed as not being permanent squadmates though appearing.

Jack, Miranda have been confirmed as being in the game but not their status.

Anderson's been confirmed as a temp. squad mate (apparently they're going to use this device several times throughout ME3)

No info on anyone else yet though Hudson has stated that everyone is going to be in the game to some degree or another.

Perhaps but I don't think that suit is going to be Ashley's casual since its being offered as a CE-outfit, it seems more likely that she'll just have an armored alternate she can wear ala Miranda's alternate appearance dlc armor.

I agree Grunt is probably a lock. I think Jack will probably be in as well since they're going out of their way to redesign her.

This is my current guess at the final lineup:

Not taking the Virmire Survivor and the Collector's Edition squaddie into account since they're kind of wildcards, this gives a good mix of classes/abilities. If you count Legion as male, then gender is equally represented. Also, the human-alien ratio is about even with ME2.
