Mass Effect 3 - Part 5

Again, I'm the only person who liked farming rescources and searching all the different planets for anomalies and such. It was relaxing.

I liked it as well.

I never got Kasumi, I'll get her before the next time I replay ME2 though.

Ironically enough, I just finished Kasumi's loyalty mission before shutting down for the night.

But I'm torn on the choice at the end. I went with destroying it, but might do the mission over again to choose otherwise. Or not.

I'm sure the "consequence" of that choice will just be an email or something.

Shepard,

We at Cerberus are very upset that you destroyed the Collector base, so we're going to be attacking you a bunch.

-The Illusive Man

or...

Shepard,

I'm so glad that preserved the Collector base for Cerberus. But we're going to try and kill you because Cerberus is evil like that.

No hard feelings <3

-The Illusive Man

Just got the Normandy back. ^_^ Man, I hope I manage to finish ME2 in time, before ME3 gets here. Stupid responsibilities and work! :argh:

I'd been thinking about this since I read it and trying to come up with a reason why I liked Kasumi. Figured it out talking to her in my current playthrough just now: She's a people person. Not only is she pretty observant about people and incisive about their desires and stuff (like calling Kenneth and Gabby on making a good couple, even though they'd never see it for themselves), but she takes notice of literally everyone. I like that she comments on regular crew as often as the other squad members. Pretty much everyone else treats the crew as just nameless drones going about their work and ignores them altogether, but Kasumi notices the little things about them. Plus, she's the classic "thief with a heart of gold" archetype, which is usually pretty cool (see Robin Hood, White Collar, etc.).
Yeah, I really liked talking to her on the ship. Especially since there weren't many conversations with her that required choice answers. It was mostly her just talking, but not in an annoying way.

Not to mention I have a thing for female characters who rock outfits with a hood. :oldrazz:

Sad thing is, I can see this totally happening.

I quit reading Bioware's forum btw. I usually lurked the non spoilers section but lately posters seem to be ignoring that rule with one week left. Hopefully posters here can be more careful and spoiler tag everything.

The hate towards the game on there is crazy. But they also hated ME2 and I loved it, so I'm not too worried.

The hate for ME3 is astounding. I don't understand it at all. Now I know what Twilight fans go through.

iirc I read the lead writer, Drew whats-his-name and a few other regulars got sucked away to TOR. Maybe that has something to do with it?

or maybe it's like everything else and internet fanboys hate everything they haven't tried yet

Drew wasn't the lead writer on ME2 either, Mac Walters was and he's lead writer on ME3 as well.

Its just the same *****y old fanbase being whiny and self-entitled.

What hate?

Yeah, neither do I. The Bioware boards can be downright toxic at times(try having an argument with a DA2 Merrill fan lol). I've played the ME3 demo for PS3 and thought it was an improvement over ME2, but you get people on the Bioware boards saying it's worse than DA2 (which I admit was a bad game), but I just don't see it.

This, pretty much. If they're not currently crying over the 'From Ashes day one DLC' then they're crying "why can't it be free?". It's just **** annoying listening to such entitled bs cry babies.

as for the Sr2s size compared to the SR1, i think i remember reading either in the game or in a article before ME2 was released saying it was about twice as big

Yes, when Shepard asks EDI about the shuttle in the cargo bay she states that the SR2 is about double the mass of SR1 and can't land on planets.

Ah, ok then. My mistake.

Sounds a lot like the World of Warcraft forums lol

Or the StarCraft 2 forums...

Yes, when Shepard asks EDI about the shuttle in the cargo bay she states that the SR2 is about double the mass of SR1 and can't land on planets.

More specifically, it can't land on high gravity worlds.

Nice^

I'm sure you have all seen the Gamestop ad by now?

I hope not.

But...you're probably right.

It might end up not even mattering that me and TIM were still homies by the end of ME2. Either way, it seems like they'll turn out to be "evil"....eh.
