I'd love an Alpha Protocol 2.
But, I'm probably the only person on this planet who does.
I think we only see that side of it because we're seeing it from Shepard's perspective. Why would he have any interaction with deep cover agents if he's a very known, publicly recognized war hero? He only gets called in when the spy work is over and things require a more traditional military approach. The Arrival DLC is an excellent example of exactly that. Clearly, Kenson was doing what we're thinking of as traditional spy work, and Shepard only hears about it after she's gone missing and Hackett needs her extracted by force.that's what ment their still more of the soilder special force verity they use the term agents but they not really show in that capacityat all. no gadgets no reall under cover or deep cover work. and raids that fallow after you gthered enough evidence from the prior work. I know ithis more about on coming war. but they stated the specters are more a still ofthe type that still deal in what has to do with war fare the actually being a real spy type agent and the STG the same deal with afew minor differences. but that's what I ment.
yeah it's true but then gain it can also be said thatI think we only see that side of it because we're seeing it from Shepard's perspective. Randall EznoI literally could not get through the tutorial for Alpha Protocol, like the interface on mouse/keyboard - it was just so busted that the hacking segment was basically unplayable. It was really disappointing because I like Obsidian a lot.
but arrival shows other wise plus shapard will have a deep cover agent working him insider Cerberus
Mass Effect Infiltrator
Protagonist
Randall Ezno
be sides Miranda and Jacob which I think have been cutting their ties to cerberus .
And who's to say shepard hasn't run into those before. look at Sam Axe (former navy seal) from burn notice who met micheal weston through him just being seal or sam hanna from NCIS again former Seal turned spy/navy cop him self.
I'm just saying it would have been cool.
Have you considered giving the console version a shot?
lol I 'd say shepard looks more like Hicks from" alphas" the newest version of your own made X-Men made for TV beside 4400 and Heroes. And that guy was a former marine too. infact he's make a good shepard for the movie. hmmmmm.
At the time no, I felt pretty burned by that initial experience. People swear up and down its story though so maybe I'll give the game another look see if the price has dropped enough.
I see what you mean.

lol with the hint's to the ME3 star fighters in the game, that both kids have been playing with in the commercials at and in ME2 there were star fighters in shuttle bays in a few bases in the game. You may get your wish in ME3. Though I don't expect it to be like starfox.i wouldnt mind starfox 64 style aerial combat in ME3
I'm pretty sure the game automatically changes over to a xbox360 control scheme if you have a pad. Still, no excause. Especially considering they use to be a pc developer. Exact same thing with Dungeon Siege III (which they also developed). I can understand focusing development on the platform where the most sales are likely to come from (usually the xbox360) but their is no excause for a basic control scheme failure, both those games should not have been put out the door at all in the current state they were in (same with Skyrim). It's a problem on the pc thats becoming increasingly annoying and while it's great moders fix alot of this crap, it should be the developers not the friggin users doing it. Thats something good about Mass Effect on the pc, they have an UI specifically for the mouse and keyboard with controls that work well for the most part.
