I've only watched the theatrical cut and I love it. To quote someone ayne on here or maybe on Reddit "you don't kill Superman in his second movie and you don't do The Dark Knight Returns in Batman's first movie ".

Man of Steel.

That really isn't saying much, though.

I'll say BvS. MoS is okay but misses the mark and JL is a different kind of a mess.

BvS UE is just... it's completely another level. I've never seen movie like that, let alone CB movie. It's like some symbolistic shakespearean tragedy from ancient times with modern yet archetypal protagonists. It's one of the best films I've ever seen.

Wait wait wait. :oldrazz: Just came across this on the first page. So, according to you The Last Jedi was some cinematic abortion, and BvS (admittedly the extended cut which I haven't seen) is the best thing since sliced bread?

Feeling okay there, buddy?

You really should see the Ultimate Edition before making a comment like that. The UE really is a great and well balanced movie.

I too think BvS:UC is best among DCEU movies and I have no opinion of SW: TLJ either way.

Why should everyone subscribe to the majority opinion ?

I'm tired of people throwing shades and snarky remarks at others who don't share the majority opinion.

I'm tired of people doing that if they haven't even seen the movie. It's one thing if you've seen the movie. It's another when you haven't even seen it.

Man of Steel

Flawed but i still enjoy it very much, as opposed to Both cuts of BvS which i despise and Justice League which is a mess.

Man of Steel > Batman vs Superman > Justice League

BvS:UC takes the cake for me. A flawed movie like any other, but gahdamn beautiful and tragic with so much to dissect in every scene. I do feel MoS has the most rewatch value outta the bunch though.

1 - Man of Steel - despite its flaws is an interesting update to the character with some exciting action and a beautiful soundtrack

2 - Justice League - messy, bland and yet it has a certain charm. love seeing Superman portrayed as being more hopeful but feels unearned after the first 2 films.

3 - BvS Theatrical or UE - complete brainfart of a film. essays will be written for decades about all the poor decisions, awful storytelling, lack of logic and the most underwhelming battle between Superman and Batman ever realised. And to top it off we have to sit through 'The death of Superman' who someone decided needed to be tacked on to this sort of remake of Dark Knight Returns.

Watchmen is my favourite movie and second is BvS..

This is a no-brainer.

MoS >>> BvS UC >>>> JL

MOS , still love the hell out of that movie and it’s one of Snyders best for sure.

BvS UC isn’t that far behind though, for me at least.

This.
Between BvS and JL, I'm more willing to watch JL again.

I think they all have something very different to offer. MAN OF STEEL gave us the hero's formation...BVS gave us heroes' conflicts with the world, and JUSTICE LEAGUE gives us heroes' redemption and heroic adventure.

Batman v Superman and Man of Steel are my favorite superhero films. The artistry delivered by Snyder was nothing short of incredible. Of the two, BvS is my favorite. It juggled so many things seamlessly while also functioning as an arthouse film. I am bummed we may never see another movie like it again.

Justice League, while entertaining, was a huge disappointment in comparison. Doesn’t help that the marketing sold us a Snyder movie and we got a Marvel movie. I really felt lied to.

MOS and it isn't really close. JL and BvS each had their moments, but that's all they were. Although I wouldn't consider MOS a great movie, it's the best of the bunch which isn't saying much. After rewatching it recently, I was originally around 5/10 but now I'd say 5.5 to 6/10. It could have been great though, what potential that movie had.

Hoping for a Superman solo and SOON!

Not surprising MOS ran away with the poll. Its a dreadfully dull movie, but its a masterpiece compared to the other two.

Better as a movie?

1. MoS
2. BvS
3. JL

My preference?

1. BvS
2. MoS
3. JL

So as OP asks which did we like best, I vote BvS.

MOS is decent with its shortcomings primarily being stunted character development and devolving into a typical cgi smashfest 3Rd act.

The other 2. One is a slogfest with awful direction and the other generically forgettable.
