What's with all the sports car inspired batmobiles??? Don't people realize that that would not fit into Nolan's real world based version of Batman? A sports car batmoble would get f***ed up just going over a f***ing pot hole. Geez.

Why? Bruce Wayne is a millionaire. He can afford a sports car.

Do any of you think "Rises" in the title is indicative of Batman traveling via Batwing?

I'd imagine it's much more to do with the overall theme and narrative direction of the film.

I'm hoping that we at least get a nod to Robin in this movie as he is the one that is supposed to balance Batman out. If they dont show him, at least have Alfred telling Bruce that he's supposed to be going to the circus as an apperance or show a flier with the Flying Graysons on it.

With that said, I'd like to see a room in the cave which Bruce uses to modify or fix his vehicles

No. Just...please...no.

I think the big question is how will Bruce Wayne get his new Batmobile?

He'll build it himself.
Lots of speulation that this new movie is based on Prey (which i don't believe). But he does actually build hos own car in it.

Maybe he has a Bat-Hot-Air-Balloon.

So I guess you don't get the fact that it would make absolutely no sense in Nolan's interpretation of Batman and his world, but it even wouldn't be functional in high speed chases.

The Tumbler wouldn't be functional in the real world either. That's what movie magic is for.

Maybe he gets it but just doesn't care.
