Their are rumors that Scott Eastwood's character in "Suicide Squad" is Dick Grayson. Since his character has not been named. Other's think he might be Deadshot. I like the Grayson idea.

But...Will Smith is DS.

oh and by the way, Superman's death is such a clever idea. It set up so many things for Justice League. 2 from the top of my head


1) Superman doing the ultimate sacrifice to save the world from a beast created from a crazy billionaire CEO. He'll have all the universe behind him with that when he comes back

2) Forcing Batman to consider big time the need to unite after what he have discovered in the Lexcorp files

And with the Knightmare/flash travel in time, I can't wait to see what's in store for the next movie as clearly they already knew what's the next step would be in this universe. That's the beauty of having a director in control of 3 consecutives movies

I finally found 2 continuity ''problems'' with it:

1) Superman and Zod rushing in the Wayne building like 1-2 minutes after the World Engine imploded. In MOS , there is a good 5 minutes after the implosion before they get there (laser eyes, etc.)

I thought that was off.

I actually think the Batmobile chase is super underrated even by those who liked the film I thought it was awesome! That thing really was able to tear through all sorts of structures Then the icing on cake, Superman briskly knees it away into the building. hahahahah that was awesome!!!

I actually think the Batmobile chase is super underrated even by those who liked the film

It was pretty much straight from the Arkham games as well, as most Batman action scenes are in this film (guess Arkham provided a really good base for this). Only thing that was missing was probably a transformation into a battle tank mode

It's probably my favourite too. I don't think it's the best quality superhero movie ever made, but as a Superman fan, the fact that I even like it at all puts it right at the top of my list

I don't know if this will make sense but I put Superman the Movie and Batman '89 on their own pedestal as they hold so much nostalgia for me. So I only like to compare CBMs from Blade onwards (plus the technology has improved since those days), Man of Steel is my favourite CBM but I think BvS is a better 'comic book movie' in that it feels more comic booky.

I said yesterday it's by far my favourite Batmobile chase ever. Some pointed out it was because Batman was the one doing the chasing instead of running and I think that's a valid reason.

This is so awesome. I was scrolling through it yesterday and just drooling over the Batmobile and the pieces in the cave. I saved it to my favourites and also made it available offline.

Kinda weird but, at my showing today, the granny's peach tea got the 2nd biggest laugh next to the "I'm a friend of your sons" line from bruce when he saves Martha which Idk, just thought it was odd and funny

I was impressed right away, gave it 9/10. But then I read criticisms and thought what if it's hype and whatever, so I expected my score to go down, but I still rate it 9/10. It has some flaws, but it doesn't prevent me from loving this movie... I want to defend it with my life. It's my favorite comic book movie ever. Thank you Zack and everyone involved...

I could name a few flaws in my most favourite CBMs (but suppose I better not given the rules of this thread). I think it's always a case of whether those flaws are a deal breaker or not and to me the flaws of BvS aren't. Right now I actually can't think of anything I'd change. Maybe it helps knowing we have a 3 hour cut on the way.

Yeah I was really worried my second viewing would be worse because of being influenced by certain things said in here.

But other than having a bit of a sad moment at the beginning where I just thought it was so so sad that Superman was the cause of so much fear and death and suffering, I still found I was able to forgive the film it's flaws and things I didn't particularly like, and enjoy it for what it is.
