Can this finally put to rest the concerns that Bane will be shorter than Batman?

Batman still has him...by an ear. :woot:

EDIT: Posted the same joke - too slow!

Yup, I reported the same story two days ago, its good to see other people are hearing the same thing independently. likens the chance of it being true.

That Newark shoot could have been Batman and Catwoman breaking the cops out

Ah yes!
There was a lot of police activity filmed in various subways too, might be connected to the underground flood they filmed in LA.

IIRC they filmed at some train station too in London.

I have to admit I was never really concerned to begin with.

For some reason people think what they see in set photos is what will be in the film EXACTLY TO THE LAST DETAIL. Oh no, Bane is too short! Oh no, the batwing doesn't fly, it only hovers! Good grief.

That would explain some of the dirt and mud on some of the cops in the riot. I tried asking but they genuinely didn't seem to know why they were dirtier than the other cops.

So are they still continuing the shoot in Wall St, because there was a tweet about them finishing up this week on Wall and Water.

i mean wiith this week's shooting I can't see them spending too much time on Wall St again. I can't see them bringing back all the mercs and cops to do some pick-ups with the Batwing especially when all th casting sheets said it was only for that weeken

I think this week wont need a whole lotta actors. I think it'll be -if all else- additional plate references, aerial shots, establishing shots, etc.

actually people probably read your acct of the scene since it was picked up by several fan sites. FB etc. your postings on here got spread around.

iirc they changed the bridge scene to the street scene you have seen in the video. where both armies clash.
but the fight in NY is connected to the fight in Pittsburgh where they fight infront of the city hall. if they would fight on the bridge how would this connect to the stairs fights?

second question. they planned this for months. isnt it strange that they changed their mind in less then a month and NY gave them the whole street so fast?

are we sure about that?

And usually I'd keep that option in mind, cept Mechaorga was involved in the shoot and was drawing that statement from something he heard on set.

Which is where I heard it...

there's a chance we heard it from the same guy though

I thought that at first, but then we saw how it should seamlessly join up with the steps in Pittsburgh.
Bridge is still a mystery.

it's possible there was never a bridge shoot (which is what I'm starting to think)

jeez Bane totally kicks his ass in the set video, did anyone see the fight scene?

Didn't the Bridge shoot info just came from a Batman fansite (that I'd rather not bring up)? It was never really confirmed by any movie or production site.

It think the bridge was considered early on. And until they ran into the red tape. I think it would be a nightmare to shoot. Besides, since the riot happens at the Gotham Stock Market and City Hall, it makes sence to have it at Wall St.

But still it would be nice to have a bridge scene. If all else I think they'll show it being destroyed, hence being stuck in Gotham so might see it only in aerial shots.

My Ninja talked about it quite a bit but...now that I think of it there was never a positive tone about it. Just what it could be if it happened...

and essentially he described what happened on Wall Street (save a few details)

I'm placing my bet on a destroyed bridge aerial shot, via IMAX!

Here's the fight scene of Bane completely saviging the **** out of Batman... damn didn't realize they were going to make him like a pitbull... he doesn't even look revved up on venom. He's just a better fighter
