Thanks to Dragon_316ca for posting my video! Yeah, we were really excited to see it! It was crazy timing, we literally were only sitting there for 15 minutes before it rolled out. It's definitely the same color as it was in Batman Begins...thought that was interesting.

Looks like you guys have a great community here and a wealth of information. I'll be certain to contribute any info I run across. I've been following the movie very closely, I have a friend who's brother lives next door to a place they are filming in. I also know that Christian Bale just landed in Pittsburgh today, so keep your eyes peeled! :)

Oh yes.

And I live literally one block from the streets they're covering the streets with snow.

:awesome:

:awesome::awesome::awesome:

Welcome to the board! Thanks for the info! :awesome:

Which streets are getting covered with snow?

I hope the football stadium scene isn't the new ferry scene. I hated the ferry scene in TDK. I thought the actors in that scene were terrible; it felt like a Sam Raimi movie, and did not feel like a Nolan film at all. I sure hope this football scene is not cheesy. The more extras and lesser actors involved, the more chance there is of it being cheesy.

The worst scenario would be:

The star football player saves the day or something stupid like this. Kind of like how the tattooed prisoner saves the day by throwing the detonator out the window.

EXT. FOOTBALL FIELD - NIGHT

Bane enters the field with his cronies. The players stop play, confused. The crowd goes silent.

BANE: Where's the Batman?!

Batman, beaten bloody, steps out onto the field.

BATMAN: I'm here. It's me you want... leave these people alone.

BANE: I will break you.

Bane moves for Batman. The STAR FOOTBALL PLAYER, Tony Romo, steps in Bane's path.

ROMO: You'll have to break us first.

The entire football team assembles around Romo.

ROMO: Batman is Gotham's hero... He's our hero. If you want to get to him.. you'll have to go through us first.

The crowd cheers.

Oh lord...I saw the dialogue and thought one of the guys posting in here cast as a football player had his lines, till I read it closer!

That's a little cheesier than the ferry scene imo.

I also hope characters bleed in this film. In TDK, people get punched, pummeled, and beaten and there's no blood. WTF?! Don't real humans bleed when struck? Am I missing something here? That interrogation scene in TDK really bothered me; Joker gets absolutely BEATEN by Batman and there is not even a scratch on his face.

INT. FERRY - NIGHT

People on board shouting.

WOMAN (holding her kids close): Those men had their chance... why should my little babies have to pay?

FAT BLACK LADY: Sooo Gooo Aheeaadd!!! Doooooh iiiitt!!!

BEARDED CAPTAIN (looks similar to the fish fingers guy): Well, they haven't killed us yet... so let's just wait longer to see if they do kill us.

BALD WHITE GUY : Fine. You people don't have the guts. I'll do it. Those men on that boat chose to murder and steal. Why should we pay?

The ferry scene was significantly cheesy. I think Nolan must have gotten tired of the long shoot and just mailed it in here.

Just a side note, how long would the drive from NYC to the stadium be? Google says about 7 hours, just curious if its actually faster.

:lmao:

Watch it play exactly like that.

Oh man! Not Romo!

If this is the 4th Quarter Batman is screwed.

Does anyone know if they have finished choosing the supposed 2,500-3,500 extras that they said they would be bringing on board at the open call? Also, does anyone know someone who actually got a confirmation phone call?

I thought the Ferry scene was great, it showed how Batman had changed Gotham and unlike the Joker thought, people wouldn't turn on each other at the drop of a hat. I also thought the speech by Tim Lister Jr. (the tattooed prisoner) was really well written...

Prisoner: You don't want to die, but you don't know how to take a life. Give it to me; believe me it will kill you, and take it anyway. Give it to me. You can tell 'em I took it by force. Give it to me, and I'll do what you shoulda did ten minutes ago.

You should watch the movie with subtitles next time. It is:

"These men will kill you, and take it anyway. Give it to me."

The whole time, during that scene, I was thinking, "Dibo! Dibo! Whip his ass, Dibo!"

The ferry scene was significantly cheesy? Huh. The meaning and use of "cheesy" sure has changed since my time...

Everything that people doesn't like is cheesy these days. It's so over- and misused it has lost it's meaning.

Damn,i have never read such cheecy lines before damn.:awesome:

So they haven't started shooting in Pittsburgh yet? I was driving West on 76 and saw convoys coming down the highway with like a couple tanks and a bunch of armored personnel carries and cargo trucks heading East from Pittsburgh and was wondering if that was any part of TDKR shooting after seeing some of those photos with military rigs.

Could be...I hope see, what you saw sounds interesting.

and if my :ninja:s are correct in what they've been telling me.

You're all in for it in Pittsburgh.

It's going to be one HELL of a shoot

I'm coming in from CT and google maps says 7 hours 43 minutes. And I'm about an hour from NYC so i'm thinking it might be a little less
