You guys overthink things here. Which makes you miss the point entirely making you dumb!

LOL! Not pathetic dumb! Just overly thinking, over analyzing dumb. and always nissing the point. I like 94 spiderman tas take on rhino. Alien costume part 1.

I dom't want rhino screaming for his mommy in Tasm 2 which he did in spectacular spiderman.

Lol, what? Are you comparing to a guy that carried NO emotional impact whatsoever to Agent Coulson who was adored by fans ever since Iron Man?

Give me what you're smoking, because it must be freaking awesome.

Coulsen's death had no effect on me really,I never thought he was likeable to start with
Darwin's death wasnt too emotional either but it had more of an effect one me

I thought SSM version of Rhino was the best version of him yet, unstoppable.
I was genuinely afraid for Spidey especially when Rhino grabs a hold of Spidey's leg. But there is nothing good/great about Rhino (imho) that you can't achieve in the opening credits.

Coulson was an established character that people loved. Darwin was created so he could be killed off. He was useless because there was no connection to the character. His death was cheap.
If we look at the individual movie(TA),his purpose was the same as Darwin, bring the team together and get them to be serious throigh his death
Marvel couldnt bring any emotional impact in his death, maybe because it was all jokes till then,Even his death had a gag(So thats what it does)

The point you seem to be missing is, Coulson was around for many movies. They didn't think "OH YEAH, WE SHOULD MAKE THIS CHARACTER SO WE CAN KILL HIM OFF IN THE AVENGERS." when they were making Iron Man 1. Darwin's character was made so he could be killed off.

Says the guy with numerous spelling & grammatical errors in his posts.

Although I agree that Coulson's death had little effect, I think it was more emotional than Darwin's in X-Men First Class.

Seriously though, why does Coulson have such a huge fan following now? What has he done that has been so cool?

Now you're losing me by saying 'dumb' too many times.

And how are we over thinking when you're giving two different kinds of definition to dumb?

Coulsen's death had no effect on me really,I never thought he was likeable to start with
Darwin's death wasnt too emotional either but it had more of an effect one me

So some random mutant with no development had more of an effect on you than a guy that's been around from the beginning of the MCU?

Yeah it did, because basically even Coulsen's death was treated as source to get some Jokes in

And I dont see much wrong with 'So we can kill him off..' attitude either,Even Gwen Stacy was bought in with the same objective

You mean ignore the fact that Coulson was already established before the movie and the emotional connection the audience had with him? Seems like you just want to stack the argument in your favour. Coulson wasn't invented for the Avengers and that's an important difference, you can't just ignore that because it's inconvenient.

The character development was already there as with the emotional connection. Whedon just had to develop an established character to the point where he makes a heroic sacrifice. First Class on the other hand added Darwin and killed him off with little in the way of development.

Spiderdevil, stop chasetering The Avengers please! ;)

Just wanted to feel how this new word works.

Okay you guys win

Maybe I feel that about Coulsen because I saw Thor and IM2 after TA

And 'We cant even bury him' worked great emotionally instead of 'So that what it does'

Ugh. I can't stand Paul Giamatti. He's one of those actors who plays himself in every freaking movie he's in. He's like nails on a chalkboard to me, sad to say.

I'm caring less and less about Webb's Spider-Man trilogy. Maybe that's a good thing, because the first installment, in my opinion, was one of the biggest forms of mediocrity I've seen on film in a while. I'll just take a page from Professor Henry Walton Jones, Sr. and "Let it go."

I'm kind of done. I mean, I guess I'll see the sequel at some point, but it's not going to be in theaters. Maybe Redbox, or when it's on TBS or something.

Funny. :) I'm thinking the same about Jamie Foxx ;)

well, you like the first two spider-man movies more than the avengers and the dark knight (heck, better than any other comic book movie), so maybe you were always gonna feel this way.

Paul is a character actor. If anything, he plays anything but himself. He can pretty much do any role that he's given.

How are they going to handle this without scrapping the thought of Rhino being used in the game? Dude was there as a loose end, and the development team of the game had deals and discussions with the developers of the movie

I see the video game as an alternative sequel to TASM. Its non-canon IMO.

But if they keep going with movie tie-ins the way they do, continuity will have its importance
Of course Rhino's role in the game doesn't need to be in your face onfilm, I hope they subtly imply this is not his first time being the Rhino and give brief and almost hidden easter eggs pointing at the game events

Movies take priority. They don't care what happened in games.

They won't.

Because the Raimi games mattered so much. It's just a game that they're trying to use marketing tactics to sell the game, it's no biggie.

Raimi games rehashed film plots, so they get a free pass
Sure movies are top priority, but I still hope the game story doesn't get cheapened by this
