Person Of Interest - Part 2

Excellent premiere. A lot of stuff already set in motion. I'm loving Carter's arc. With her being demoted, and also her involvement with Ellias. Who's slowly rebuilding his empire. I like how concerned Reese is for Carter. It's great seeing how far their relationship has developed since Season 1. The dynamic between Reese and Shaw is awesome. lol Root gave me chills at the end. Amazing acting by Acker.

Person of Interest - Root's Truth

Great episode the twist at the end had my head spin. I may have to watch it again to see if I miss something.

So the new threat is an "Anonymous" type group that is actually out there doing things. Interesting. I love the wide array of threats they keep adding to the show.

Definitely didn't see that guy coming. Looks like there's always a season-long threat they have to deal with so the Anonymous-style group appears to be an interesting take on that threat. Wouldn't be surprised if Finch and Co. needs to call in some help from Root later in the season to deal with the group.

I agree I think they will bring in some help that is one thing this show does. They rarely kill off good characters or organizations though I think this year HR is gonna go down.

Another quality episode, Carter's new role training a rookie was an unexpected turn of events. I thought the central story was a great concept really well executed, and I didn't see the twist coming, unveiling yet another big recurring threat for Reese and Finch, this show really does it bigger than most with the forward momentum and layers.

I think I've asked this before, but is still in my head. If the machine gives the number of the victim, shouldn't it also give the number of the perpetrator?

Like, for example, the machine sometimes knows 'x' could be a victim or a perpetrator, shouldn't it also give the number of 'y', since that person could ALSO be a victim/perpetrator?

in some cases that might work, but in others no. If a person was a serial killer who had five contracts at once it would be confusing and difficult to keep tabs on all the potential victims.

With one number, who is guaranteed to be either the victim or perpetrator you can follow them and save them....hopefully.

Shaw, Carter, and Zoe all in one episode next week...WIN.

Anyone get the feeling there may be more to Carter's rookie partner than we're lead to believe? He made that speech to Carter about looking up to her for going against corrupt cops. That leads me to think he could either be a possible Robin of TDKR of the show and may eventually be brought into the fold of Finch, Reese, & Co. or he is actually working for "Human Resources" to keep tabs/take care of Carter. :wow:

My instant reaction was that the rookie is working for HR.

Did the rookie show up before or after the scene with Carter and the head of HR at Beecher's grave?

Reese's jacket and Shaw's dress almost look like they're made out of the same material.

I was kinda disappointed by the season premier. It was good, and it set up a lot of stuff, but it wasn't as intense as the first episode of season 2.

Episode 2 was more interesting thanks to this new organisation.
