Rockstar Red Dead Redemption

It's a free DLC that's useless to people who haven't paid for a Live account, so yes, people are going to be disappointed.

The majority of DLC for RDR has been online related, so those people should also not be surprised.

cool beans, i dont play online at all but free is always good. PS3 users have nothing to fret over, haha, since everybody gets free online access.....

Pretty much. Its free AND its dlc, meaning you dont have to have it and if ya want it, ya dont have to pay for it. There literally is nothing to whine over, yet people find a way.

"new fan-favorite multiplayer characters by popular demand"....

Hope that means you get to play as hookers.
Saloon gals in lingerie ftw.

Time for those people to get with the times then and buy XBL... if not, then they should quit moaning.

It's ****ing amazing how people find a way to do that, isn't it? There's literally nothing bad about this...but still...

I love this site, it always puts a smile on my face, it´s like going to the circus, except i hate the circus.

And the circus hates you. I know this... A hippo told me....

I mean your mum.

BAZINGA!

Can we please reign in it, people and go back to talking about the DLC?

...which I'll be downloading even though I've no interest in mutliplayer, just because I love free ****.

...On a more serious note, traded in the 360 version I had for RDR and bought it for the PS3, can't wait to replay this bad boy tonight. :awesome:

Rockstar was s ogreat with DLC for this game. It didn't cost that much and a lot of it was free!

It's 3xXP this weekend. I decided to go Legend and see how much XP I can get, but it doesn't seem like I'm getting much. One hideout yields like 300XP? Blehhhhh....

I never got the Nightmare pack,I needed money for another game and so I traded in the game:(,I really miss it But instead of re-buying it and passing it all over again(I deleted my saves:()I'm thinking of getting or renting the Nightmare pack But I have a few questions!!!......

-Is the disc separate from the regular RDR?Such as GTA IV's DLC packs sold as games on there own with the original GTA IV not being needed?

-How long is the story?

-Is it all DLC packs or just the zombie one??

-Is the online modes from the regular RDR or all new stuff??,IF like the regular then could I play against people playing regular RDR or just the same who have the pack like with TBOGT for GTA IV?

Yes the disc is seperate from the standard RDR game.

A few hours

Its the Undead Nightmare, Liars and Cheats and one other thats slipping my mind at the moment.

Its the same stuff that was seen in RDR. I believe you can still play online with people who dont have the undead nightmare stuff, you just wont be able to do the undead horde mode with non UN users.

If you do all the challenges and stuff, the story is more than a few hours. The challenges are enough to keep you busy outside the main story missions, and the missions get tougher as you go so that's good, too.

And yeah, the amazing part about buying/renting the Undead Nightmare game disc is that you still get to play on the same servers as everyone else, PLUS you get all the other DLC included. I'm probably going to lend my regular RDR to a friend just so we can both play online since the Undead Nightmare disc is a standalone. Amazing stuff.

1) Undead Nightmare can be bought in stores as a separate disc for about $29.99 retail, or you can just download a 2.x GB file online. I think it's cheaper to do it online....I got it on sale on XBL about a week or two ago.

2) Playing through Nightmare from beginning to grisly end can net you about 10 hours. But once you come to the end of the story, there's still A LOT left to be done. After I finished, it showed me at less than 70% completion, with a TON of challenges left and new costumes to find.

3) Includes Undead, Legends & Killers DLC, and Liars & Cheats DLC. Pretty much all the DLC you would have ever wanted to buy for the game anyway.

4) Includes some new online modes, like Undead Overrun (you and some other survivors try to survive multiple waves of zombie hordes) and Land Grab (stake out a building in one of several towns and hold it for about 2-3 minutes while other players try to steal it back from you). Plus, zombie multiplayer skins!

And yeah, you can still interact just fine with players who don't have the Undead DLC. They just can't join you in Undead Overrun or Land Grab.
