  • Yes, without a doubt!

  • No, 2 movies were enough!

i didnt think the second one was as gothic or stylistic as the first.
but i thought the story was whole lot better. it wasnt as back and forth as the first.

Well Yea,alot of people liked the first better because

*Werewolves played alot bigger part
*Len abandoned the war aspect
*and like you said it wasnt as gothic

I prefered the secont one better, but my brother liked the first better.

They clame its coming in the middle or end of may.

although...we got the first one in Jan 2003, the second in Jan 2006...maybe we should add another year to that estimation lol

Probably since there going to wait to see how dvd sales go.

Either way were gonna get a show, lol.

In a way, I'd like a story more about the two covens, but I also want a mindless two hour fight between vampires and Lycans, and see which one lives.

I still think they should make a sequel then wait a year or so and make a prequel.

I'd prefer a TV series myself lol

I think a Prequel comic book series (drawn by Len Wiseman himself?) would be a good idea.

drawn by Len, why not have him write the story and have someone else draw it? but yea, nice idea. I heard there's going to be more books,so thats cool.

Well writing would be a def. go go, but he's a really good drawer too, that half of how Underowrld 1 and 2's budget stayed so low, because he just drew what he wanted and they did it without questions, be it production design, cotumes, storyboards, etc.

sigh...no more underworld please
the first one was tolerable
the second one was unbearable :(

So did Len do the storyboards?

I believe it says he did work on Underworld storyboards on the dvd, I'll watch it and see.

I don't think there should be an Underworld 3. The first one was good, the second one not so good, but passable. I think they've written themselves into a corner. What else can they do with the characters? Where else can they go?

Evolution did a poor job of expanding the mythology-in the sense of making it rich and deep enough to draw a wealth of stories from. It explained the origins of Vamps and Wolves, but it wiped too many players off the board. Now that Selene has Corvinus blood and Michael can come back from impaling no problem, where is the vulnerability? The danger?

I had been hoping that Underworld2 would be a kickass chase movie, with Selene and Michael on the run from both Marcus and the Lycans. The Corvinus revelation, etc. could've been at the end of U2, and then the basic Evolution story could've taken place as a third, concluding movie.

As I've posted before, Evolution made moot the key selling point of Underworld-the Vampire/Werewolf blood feud.
