That suit is great. I love both suits for what they are. I won't know which I like better until I actually see the new suit in motion though.
Wow seeing those pictures again makes me think that suit looks damn perfect. Lol goodbye cgi swinging spidey! Hello stuntman meh suit spidey.
Oh yea i hope that they have spidey cgi shots as well. I love seeing spidey swinging stories high. With the stunt work, hes pretty close to the ground:/ no doubt it will look amazing though.
I also want a final swing to compare the cgi! Lol
He's done it it in the comics, so I don't see why it's a bad thing that he did it in the previous trilogy.

Look, the current costume works in the context of a modern day and more grounded interpretation of the character. Say what you will about faithfulness and unnecessary changes, it looks like something a teenager in 2012 would design or at least, more so than the classic design.
It's not about it being more "realistic" it's about it being more presentable in context. The classic Spider-Man costume doesn't work in the world that is being presented on the screen, just as Batman's grey/black suit with a blue cape wouldn't have worked with what Chris Nolan was attempting to present.
Arguing about which costume is better on the basis of realism is a silly point to hinge an argument on.
I can't believe people are actually complaining that the suit isn't the classic comic book design. Can you imagine this in a summer blockbuster?
