There goes any remaining thoughts of Khan.
What, you don't think Khan can be rebooted into a pale British dude?

Benedict Cumberbatch is in this? HOT DAMN! I love, love, this man.
He seems Vulcan-y to me. But I don't give a damn. Definitely the most exciting casting I've heard with this film.

He would make an awesome evil vulcan and then Kirk gets his own villain
Cumberbatch and another villain team up

DO IT. He is easily my favorite Sherlock Holmes. Just brilliant. All this Cumberbatch lately is making me think I should start watching Sherlock.

It's true it does leave you wanting more, but at the same time, the episodes are much longer than the usual TV episode, so they feel more like mini-movies. That makes it easier to think of each season as a little trilogy or something. The thing about that is, if I do end up watching, and end up liking it, the prospect of only three episodes a season/series will start to seem unacceptably low.
I mean, come on... they can't up that to, like, six?![]()
Yeah just FYI, each episode of Sherlock is like an hour and a half long and about twice the length of your average TV episode. So you are getting a lot of content for one episode. One episode can essentially fill two hours of air time.
Cumberbatch is a good casting choice. However, I can't imagine him playing Khan or a Khan like character. He'd have to wear a really heavy body suit to do that. A big part of Khan is his imposing physicality. Cumberbatch is a really thin gangly individual. He's traditionally "strong" or the athletic type which Khan is.
Plus he's a really odd looking duck. I mean it works for him because he looks unique, but he just doesn't have that Khan look.
