The Dark Knight Rises TDKR SPOILERS (read at your own risk) - Part 2

Well, assuming if what has been said is true:

People are lead to believe that the bald child presented or talked about in flashbacks or whatnot, that was shown to have endured the prison and escape from it is Bane at first, but it's later revealed that the bald child that escaped was Talia all along, with the aid of Bane who didn't need to use a mask at the time.

And considering that she and Bruce have one night of passion before his first encounter with Bane and how she's the first person that he shows such physical intimacy with after a 8 year hiatus, I don't think that it'd be easy for a casual viewer to forget about her character. I mean, people are led to believe that she's a regular good woman who might be the one that Bruce may/could end up settling down with if he were to choose that path, but when she reveals herself that throws that glimmer of hope out the window.

I was going to answer this one but then I read your reply from taking everything Shape, Freak and myself have said and came up with a great answer. Well done.

I just can't see bane wheezing after getting beaten...but is this the scene we see in the trailer when he is looking around in daylight and has extremely pissed?

He is wheezing because his mask has been broken and is no longer keeping him from feeling pain. As Shape said, he goes Ape ***** once the mask gets broken but after getting beaten he starts to shake and you can tell he is beaten.

The Scene from the trailer where he looks like a complete psycho is when he and Batman start to fight. He's looking for Batman, and Batman is looking for him. They are fighting off others as they try to get to each other.

Please kindly tell me a conclusion :

in TDKR, who does know that Batman = Bruce ?
and how?

Thank you.

Well that's all due to the fact that you guys were gracious enough to explain the answers so throughouly and several times.:yay:

While I have your attention, if it's not too much trouble to ask, could you answer these questions for me?

1. What makes Bruce Trust Selina when coming back to Gotham considering on how she was the one to betray him to bane in the beginning?

2. Does Batman make a grand entrance during the city/street brawl between the cops and Bane's mercenaries?

3. Do the cops and people of Gotham only accept Batman after they think he's bitten the dust?

4. What's your take on Selina being inserted into the Cafe with Bruce in that scene?

5. Would you label Bane as a sympathetic villain based on his history with Talia regarding the pit?

Alfred, Blake (Figures it out, tells Bruce he knows about 40 minutes in to the movie) Fox, Gordon (Batman tells him that not all hero's have to wear masks and sometimes it just takes a man giving a scared boy a coat. Gordon puts it together, helped with a flash back to Begins when he gives little Bruce the winter coat in the MCU and Gordon says Bruce Wayne as Bruce takes off in the Bat.) Selina (She witnesses Bane destroy Batman in the sewer when he says Mr. Wayne) Plus Bane and Talia.

I explained this in greater detail earlier on, if you are just coming on here and making your first post do myself, theShape and Freak a favor and do some research of all the spoilers we have posted. 3-D has made a great list of all the ones I have done. It's just tiresome to answer the same ones over and over for new members with just 1 or 2 posts under there belt. We would appreciate it. :yay:

Shape a quick question

How graphic is Banes death when he gets hit with the canon? Name said that he flies about 20 feet and that's that. Do we actually see him as a corpse, or does he just hit a wall? What's to lead us to believe that he died? Thanks in advance.

I would like to know this too, thanks. :yay:

I think it was said that
the camera really doesn't focus on Bane's body after he's been blasted by Selina's canon and if anything, I think it'll be shown in a way where common sense should lead us to know that Bane is dead.lol

Hey Shape et al, what are
Bane's last words before Selina kills him?

thats not something YOU suggested, its something conceived of by Frank Miller, hahah

1. He never loses faith in her, he understands that when she betrayed him to Bane that she had no choice or she would be killed. He understands that she wants to leave the life she has behind and start over. He want's to help her do that.

2. Yes he does, as the cops are starting to run at the merc's and criminals he swoops in in the Bat as one of the tumblers is about to fire upon the cops and takes it out allowing the cops to reach them rather unharmed.

3. No, the cops accept Batman when he comes back. He helps free the cops that are trapped underneath the ground from Bane's explosions which are seen in the trailer.

4. I feel it fits, she wanted to clear her name and leave Gotham behind her.

5. No, I loved him and I think everyone will. However, he is a cold blooded, calculating murderous bad ass that has no remorse for what he does. He only cares about Talia, but he never says anything like I love you. She says that he loves her, and when she leave him you can see he's sad that she is leaving him and he will not die by her side. However that switch gets flipped real quick once he's alone with Batman and he throws him to the ground and says "You know I have to kill you now!"

Dear beloved Name,

Maybe I miss something. I just can't find out the detail that
how does Bane know that Batman is Mr.Wayne?
According to the comics, Bane invaded into Wayne Manor.
But in TDKR, how does the villain like Bane get the information of
Batman identity?

Thank you and sorry for bothering you.

There is ZERO chance he survived the blast. You see his vest explode as he is blown back from the canon shot. He did not survive.

Your not bothering me, no worries. Just want to let you guys know that just about any question you can think of. We have answered already :yay: no worries mate.

Now to answer your question
It is never explained how he knows, there are two thoughts on this. A) He is super smart and can put two and two together, he is hired by Dagget to take down Bruce Wayne so Dagget can do a hostile takeover of Wayne enterprises.
B) Talia knows that Bruce is Batman cause she knows he let her father die, Bane is secretly working with Talia the whole time so she most likely told him.

Thank you, Name.
That is the point that I doubt how does he know that.
Your answer is absolutely clear and very reasonable.
Anyway, thanks again.

Awesome thanks. If I could just ask a few more (I'm pretty sure that these haven't been asked.lol)

1. In your opinion, how would you rate Bruce's Funeral? Do you feel that it reached the emotional impact that it was supposed to give out?

2. Is Matthew Modine's character shown becoming a Batman supporter before he meets his end?

3. Was there any emotion placed in Talia's death scene from either her's or Bruce's perspectives?

4. What were your thoughts on the scene where Bruce and Alfred had a fallout, especially where (I heard this from somewhere) on how Bruce gets angry at Alfred for bringing up Rachel the way he does.

5. Does Gordon show any frustration from your POV about how he has to keep lying about Dent? Is he shown to still feel bad for how Batman's gotten the short end of the stick?

6. A request from my friend who I mentioned is a diehard shipper for these two.lol...while it's understandable why Bruce comes to like Selina..aside from being able to erase her past crimes..why does Selina come to like Bruce?

Name-That-movie, can you please describe

Scarecrow's scenes? I'm particular interesting in the court scenes with him being a judge and Bane being there. What happens?

1. I cried, (Not blubbering like a baby, but tears formed and fell) once Alfred started talking after he was left alone.
2. He is never shown as a supporter of Batman, but of the cause that is stopping Bane.
3. Yes, before she dies Gordon, Bruce, and Catwoman are with her. She has a mini monologue before she dies (Her final death look was kinda dumb, she did the crappy movie version of the final breath then BAM dead. You know the one they always make fun of, its not as over done as in a spoof movie but I didn't really care for this part.
4. It is a very emotional scene because you know that all Alfred is doing is trying to protect Bruce, he only cares about Bruce and nothing else. So to see Bruce act the way he does and not listen to Alfred's reason is tough. He is very thick headed and when he yell's at Alfred to not use Rachel as his reason it's tough for sure.
5. Yes, you can see it in his face at the Dent Day celebration at Wayne Manor and once Bane reads his letter over the TV he snaps. He is being hidden by Blake while they try and keep him safe from Bane's men. Blake hears what Bane says and asks Gordon if it is true and Gordon kinda snaps for a minute and talks about how Batman took all the blame and he did nothing. It's a great scene.
6. She is infatuated with him from the start, even more I think after she finds out Bruce is Batman. When Blake asks if he killed him, you can really tell she is torn up about what she did and that he may be dead because of her.

Awesome! Thanks. :yay:

No problem Herolee, you've answered tons of stuff so we didn't have to. So thank you!

Sigh. Do you think that any of the movie has been tarnished for those of us who have read your spoilers? I'd like to think it will still have that impact on me.

I got a lump in my throat during this scene

"Sometimes it just takes a man giving a scared boy a coat."

Micheal Cain is an amazing actor. Reading it, and hearing him say it and the emotion he has is something completely different.

I don't know if this has been asked before and it's probably an obvious response. So I apologize in advance, BUUUUT

Is there a dog fight sequence between the Bat and the jets that are shown in the tv spots? They show the Bat evading missiles a few times but I'm wondering if there is more to it than that. And how is that sequence in general as an action scene?
