Unless you discovered this forum back when it was only spider-man hype, then no, you have not been here far longer than me. Actually far later than me.
This isn't the place for petty quibbles like this, but, um, Bat/Join Date: Jan 2011 versus Tony Stark/Join Date: May 2002.

I'll I'm saying is to watch it FIRST, then if it didn't sit well with you, then fine.
You can say it all you want, but that doesn't make you right. We've heard enough to express disappointment, and the fact that some critics who lavished praise on TDK are giving TDKR average - somewhat above average reviews is worth noting.

Besides, I thought you were going to get out of here before you lost any more brain cells? (Are you running low on them?)

screw the stupid "I was here first" arguments. I've been here 4+ years and Im still an idiot.

i really wish there are more scenes with bane to fresh out his character more; more scenes on gotham citizens after bane's occupy and especially more bruce scenes when he was in the pit.

Would you agree with Ebert and some others that Bane doesn't show much emotion since his face is partially covered up? Nolan said Hardy was able to get past that obstacle, and I would agree from the footage I've seen in trailers and the prologue.

Matt Singer said:
He sounds like a really pompous magician talking into the wrong end of a megaphone.
I got that feeling from the "Let the games begin!" line and the leaked football scene footage last summer, but he sounds really badass to me in all the other lines we've heard so far.

Matt Singer said:
One of the things that Nolan has shown throughout this series is a knack for reformulating these classic characters in ways that feel simultaneously fresh and faithful to their comic book core. And that’s exactly how he treats Catwoman, who gets cleverly recast as a cat burglar with an anarchic chip on her shoulder.
That's good to hear.

Wait, why?

the scene between bane and bruce where he delivered the 'you have my permission to die', the emotion from his eyes is really mesmerizing - pure madness and evil. that's why i said i want more, like i wanted more harvey dent scene before he turned into two face. i want to see the 4 hours cut damn it!

another aspect of the film that i found lacking:
selina and bruce -
i found selina fell in love with bruce convincing but from bruce, i really do not get the feeling that he fell for her enough to lead to the cafe scene.

@ Garretthethief
How does Bane acquire the fusion reactor and the tumblers?

@Anyone who's seen it. Pref. Chris B: Is the Jhodpur location used as an exterior? It was a fortress location. Also, does Bane have a fortress as his base of ops, or is it a League of Shadows location?

Yeah, rooting for the bad guy and all.

HEY, rooting for the bad guy is an AMERICAN INSTITUTION. It's not my fault that the villains are always better than the heroes.

Anarchist Clown/Badass with Asthma/Psychologist with some groovy Hallucinogens > Rich guy with a bunch of gadgets.

Chanduborde:

the reactor -
bane walk into wayne enterprise building to take it after bruce got sent to the pit

the tumbler - now this scene to me is the surprise OMG cool scene, so maybe you should wait to see it in cinema, however if you want to be spoiled -
during the bane and batman sewer fight, the bomb set-off you see in those trailers is the collapsing of the rooftop, revealing they are right under the floor of fox lab where he store those tumblers.

Is there any dialogue during bane and batmans fights? If so, what do they say?

Yes there are shots of its exterior. Bane doesnt have a fortress though. His lair is in the sewers.

I'll I'm saying is to watch it FIRST, then if it didn't sit well with you, then fine. You can complain then. These new users need to stop lookimg into every little word typed and assuming the character wasn't done justice. Two more days and you'll know for yourselves.

Yes I was here when it was Spider-man hype. Whatever, when I see a guy calling people "newbs" and they have a join date of 2011. I have to laugh. If you changed screen names then fine.

I can have an opinion on who these characters are, and I can have that opinion because it was in a different medium before. Sure there are going to be changes.

Again here we are talking about the ending not the whole film. I'm still seeing the film regardless.

Can anybody please post just a list of spoilers! At the beginning of this thread or a sticky somewhere. Who dies, the ending, leg breaks, back breaks, anything. Some of us just need a complete list, with no opinions, no questions, not attacks.

Thank you :)

Sure here's a list of spoilers:

1.) Bruce Willis was dead the whole time
2.) Brad Pitt is actually a figment of Ed Norton's immagination
3.) Nina Myers is the mole and kills Terri Bauer
4.) The Crying game chick is actually a dude
5.) Rosebud was the name of his sled

....sorry couldn't help myself.

Didn't see this question asked from the pages I read. So forgive me if it was already. I just didn't see it.

Who is doing the chanting in the movie, and what for?

Re-read it again. It went over your head there.... yeah, right there.

Let's all complain the film sucks and demand refunds because we don't like what we're hearing and whine like two year olds instead of waiting two more days to see it.

Can someone please describe the scenes with
Scarecrow and the courtroom. And Bane is also there, what does he do?
